The Appeasement of Criminals

Israeli commandos seized an Iranian ship loaded with rockets and bombs. The weapons were bound for Hezbollah in Lebanon to be used against Israel.

The international community, embodied by the UN, will say nothing. They, too, are on a ship: A ship of fools. They will appease Iran until it attacks them as well. The precedent was set in pre-World War II Europe.

The hatred toward Israel - really the hatred toward Jews - is so blinding that nations will give up their sovereignty as long as they can take a few Jews to the grave with them.

Every moment that Iran is allowed to get away with terrorism is another moment of its growth as an international murderous monster.

What is so stunning is that Iran’s own citizenry is beginning to do what nuclear power countries are afraid to do: Stand up against its tyrannical leadership. The Ahmadinejad political “victory” was so transparent that normally obedient citizens were enraged.

Not so the UN.

Its only motivation was to seek war crime charges against Israel.

How will they ever write these events in a history book so that they make any sense?
