Chaim & Soviet Jewry
« on: December 06, 2009, 12:20:53 PM »
How much did Chaim's actions help Soviet Jewry?

With hindsight would Chaim repeat those same actions, or do things differently?

Of course neither the verminous Jerusalem Post, nor even Lubavitch, would ever give Rav Kahane, Irv, Chaim or any other 'militant' activist any credit at all, for anything for helping Soviet Jews as per this article, but only criticism http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1259831449853&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

There is allot of historical revisionism in the Article. I think it even neglects to mention that after some Jews were allowed to leave the USSR in the 1970s the gates were closed again until 1988. So who kept fighting for the soviet Jewry in the late 70s and 80s ?

But I don't understand why you put "Irv" on your list ...
