Cursing another Jew is forbidden
SW:
Cursing another Jew is forbidden; even one who doesn't hear the curse or who cannot hear the curse.
One may not even curse oneself.
One who curses another using the name of God - even in English - deserves 39 lashes from Bet Din.
Applies to everybody, everywhere, always
Verse: "Do not curse the deaf" (Vayikra 19:4)

Kahane-Was-Right BT:
But we curse malshinim and God's enemies in the prayer 3 times a day, so it can't possibly apply to "everyone, everywhere"

JTFenthusiast2:
Is it wrong to say YimachShemoto a friend who has seriously done us wrong by evilly betraying the friendship?
~Hanna~:
I am not Jewish, but that seems just wrong to me...I've been hurt, betrayed, rejected by so called friends, I might get angry and bitter, but I would never say that about them.
