Hey guys take a look at what MakaB did! Not all links are working yet, but you can see what it would look like.

I think it's a big improvement. Please share your thoughts about it here or on the JTF Think Tank. If people like it better we should propose it to Chaim.

It's a big improvement over the existing JTF English site and would be even better with as YM said the articles on a separate page.

But I still think the JTF Hebrew pages are more beautiful. CAn the person who did the Real Right pages in Hebrew not be contracted to do a new version of the English site? YOu know there are probably dozens of people who do not have the patience to scroll down through the JTF English site. They are newcomers and don't know how good the articles are, and all they see is a fairly cluttered lay out.

The Hebrew blue is too dark. But a light blue like this forum might be nice.

Black (as in pitch black) generally doesn't look good, I made a black website with white text once, and it was horrible on the eyes....

The graphic looks nice but I think any site where you have to read more than a few sentences must be white background with black text IMO. Anything else is amateur - it may look nice, but not user/reader friendly

BTW: All of the archived articles can stay as they are...a new site would only have to change the homepage and create about 5 new main pages.

All captions, as well as the images contained therein, should be placed on opposite positions, instead of jutting in random directions into the article.

I know...I just copied and pasted it from the current page.

I think maybe the 2 articles of the week could just have introductory paragraphs and 2 or 3 pictures, along with a link to the rest of the article.

That way the homepage of the site doesn't have to be so long.

Wow, can I just say the proposed new look for the JTF.org is WAYYYYYYYY better than the current page.

I hope at some point soon JTF is able to implement that change.

Thanks for your hard work, but it kinda looks like a late nineties web site. I think the current version is better though that isnt great either

I think it's a step backwards. The aesthetics are lame. Plus, with all the links it looks overwhelming. The reason the Hebrew site works is because it's simple, yet bold. Strip it down and keep it simple. I have tomorrow off from work, Baruch Ha'Shem! I'll try to put something together.

Here I especially like the video page because it's a really easy way to click on and promote JTF's videos in an orderly way.
