This is important news.  Even if McCain holds on, he cannot serve his usual role as water-carrier for the Dems, and that means that amnesty for illegals is probably dead for now, and the climate change farce is going to be a heavier lift for Senator Graham-nesty from South Carolina.

If McCain still have a couple or four years left in his term, I have no doubt that he would be his usual pain-in-the-arse self.

No... I think most of the forum feels the same way.

Not true, but I can only speak for myself. It's important that Hayworth wins.

Graham is doing what McCain would otherwise be doing.  The things Graham does that conservatives or Republicans don't like, he learned from McCain.

Sean Hannity supports McCain.  He may not have said so, but it's obvious.

Mark Levin supports Hayworth.

From my point of view its just time McCain is put out to pasture. He really has been around far to long and is very destructive to the Republican party. Hayworth can be very unpredictable as he has shown in the past however I honestly believe he would be far better then McCain.

Cjd,

What did Hayworth do that you dislike?
He was a big name in the GOP about 8 to 10 years ago but he was painted with some bad money issue and lost an election he was running in. He sort of dropped of the charts for some time. Back then he would be on Hannity's show a few times a week and it seemed that he was destined to be a big name. There may have been some impropriety  going on to make him shy away from politics for so long but thats only my opinion.

By re-electing McCain, the voters are telling other bad republicans that they can mess up the country for their own personal advantage and still get voted back in you because they are republican. I really hope Hayworth wins so I don't have to route for the democrat for November.

So you'd want the Democrat to win in the general election just because you're not a fan of McCain?  That's probably the reasoning some "conservatives" used who voted for Obama or a Democrat for a US Senate seat in '06 or '08.

Al Franken was elected to the US Senate partly because people didn't care to re-elect Norm Coleman.  Also, there was fraud.

Did you like it when the Democrat party had 60 seats in the US Senate?

Any sentence that begins with "McCain is only up by..." is not good news to me. If we're going to be all optimistic about the elections in November and a so-called Republican like McCain winds up winning again, then I see very little hope for this country on November 3rd.

Sean Hannity is nothing more than a Republican hack.

when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”

If you think that Hayworth's run means nothing to the man who earned the nickname Juan Mexi-cain, than read this link:

Earlier, I offered a link about Hayworth's impact on McCain.  Suddenly, ol' Juan is not interested in playing the shill for the Dems on amnesty, global warming, and other like frauds.  The change in McCain is genuinely stark.  And even if it's only temporary, it really hurts the Dems.  They're supermajority will disappear this Fall, and the Arizona primary is in late summer, so McCain must suspend his RINO act until at least then, and probably until November.  So, the Dems on are their own, making amnesty and global warming a really heavy lift.
