JTF Chat
« on: May 10, 2007, 09:27:36 PM »
Has there been any discussion or thoughts about a live chat feature being added to the forum?  If such a thing is already in existence outside of my knowledge someone please educate me.

I made one already but it is unpopular.

Maybe you could advertise some more... spread it around in a few places.

Don't give up... good ideas take a while sometimes.

Maybe there should be a feature that once you log on you are automatically entered into a mass chat room.  That way any curious new comers could be more readily recruited.  If they were thrown into a situation where many people were conversing and debating, even if they disagree with JTF principles, they might still spread the word so long as JTF members stayed professional in how they carried themselves and their debates.

Like a link that says "Chat Now"?

I could probably do this. Not a bad idea... what do the others think about this? Comments?

I clicked on "Ignore" but a big red cross came up saying it has blocked it,to which i could only respond "OK"

What web browser are you using? If you are using Internet Explorer, goto GetFireFox.com to download a far superior web browser for free.

Perhaps the Forum could host a weekly real time web get-together in the chat room.  Maybe even Chaim could spend 15 minutes to a half an hour with Forum members in the chat session.  This would make many members ecstatic and attract new members to the Forum.
