You name it. Some Red Army wings finished SS work in several villages and cities in Western Russia, shooting Jews and massacres to local populations.

One should not forget that Hitler and Stalin were similar characters with different views and similar goals. Both were anti-semitic. But Stalin was not as cruelly organized as the Nazis. If he had been as organized, there wouldn't be anymore Jews in Eastern Europe.
There is no reason to call Stalin antisemite. He killed Jews but he killed peoples from other nations as well. In fact Muslim peoples of USSR were those who suffered the most from Stalin: Crimean Tatars, Chechens, Karachays, Meskhetian Turks.. Nearly third of them were killed during the deportation.

Stalin supported creation of Israel and allowed weapon sales through Chzechoslovakia.

Maybe you would fit in better on revolutionary left or the antifa forums, we're not communists here.
May be you better get some arguments instead of name calling.

Stalin would have eliminated the European Jewry even faster than Hitler tried to do.
Why he did not eliminate them during 30 years of his reign then? Just one order and all Soviet Jews would be killed.

Don't fool yourself, the Soviet Union had just as much of a racialist policy as Nazi Germany, the concept by Karl Marx was to "erase" the concept of race and religion by assimilating all people under one system but yet the Soviet Union specifically separated people into "homelands" based on their ethnic background, Tartars were sent to certain regions, the Turkic to another, Jews were supposed to be deported to the east in Siberia, and white Russians in their own area. The reason you don't know about massacre of Jews in the Soviet Union is because unlike Nazi Germany who got caught with their pants down and a lot of documentation was confiscated, the Soviet Union slowly erased and absolved it's self from it's past crimes by destroying evidence of it's past.
Fact is that most of the Jews in continental Europe were murdered by the Nazis, only in USSR majority of the Jews survived. And this happened thanks to Red Army. If Red Army had surrendered like French then Soviet Jews would be murdered as well.

The change in policy of the Soviet Union and their vote in favor of the UN partition plan was shortlived.  We all know that shortly after Israel's independence, the Soviet Union came to arm our enemies who were openly proclaiming they had intention to invade and destroy us.
Soviet Union supplied weapons to Israel through Czechoslovakia, while USA embargoed. Thanks to rifles and machine guns from Czechoslovakia Israel could launch Nahshon operation in april 1948, expelling hundreds of thousands of Arabs. Most of the Israel air force was from Czechoslovakia.

Massive supplies of Soviet weapons to Arabs started only in 1955, after Stalin's death.

Do you really think it was because Stalin liked Jews?   Quit deluding yourself.

What does it matter why? Fact that he did supply weapons to Israel while USA embargoed us and British officers led Jordanian troops against us.

So Stalin was better for Israel than Truman.

Stalin was  originally a village vagabond with little brains. He always acted in such foolish and undemocratic manners that all the great leaders of west must have been considering him to be a part of the global zionist conspiracy.

That is why the western leaders made inordinate delays in opening the western front at Normandy. Alternately they vigorously opened and fought at all other trivial fronts at Philippines, Malaya and Pacific against Japan and even at Africa and at none of these places the Jewish cause were then seriously involved. So unfortunately Stalin was to be called as liberator by all those who survived even at Berlin.

If Normandy was to be opened earlier, Stalin could have barely crossed Warsaw and Kiev.

But the way you put it sounds as if you wanted to say the Red Army fought the Nazis in order to save or protect the Jews. This is not true, they fought for Russia, communism and for the country becoming a world power (which Russia or USSR really became after WWII at least for some decades). That Jews were safer than in the regions that were overrun and occupied by Nazi forces and terrorized by the SS no one would ever deny. The possibility of a Jew dying in Russia was at least 10,000 times lower than in Western or Central Europe.
Even though Russia is to blame for it's anti-semitic and racist politics right after WWII, when Germany was merely a load of rubble and the rest of Western Europe still traumatized by the terror they experienced. This was the time when the next enemy were the "non-Russians" like Jews, Tatars and other minorities and Russian government could terrorize them as much as they wanted - using the Red Army as an instrument for deportations, forced work camps etc.

Thanks to Stalin and Soviet Russia, Hitler was able to conquer Poland and start the holocaust. The Soviets signed a Non-Aggression Treaty with Nazi Germany in 1939. That is what enabled the Germans to start the holocaust.

Stalin and the Soviets murdered thousands of Russian Jews. Stalin was so anti-Semitic that he even murdered loyal Jewish Communists because he believed that the Jews were plotting against him. He ordered that many lifelong loyal Jewish Communists be shot to death. Stalin and the Soviets also destroyed all Jewish religious life and sent rabbis and religious Jews to Siberian concentration camps.

In the 1948 war of independence, Stalin briefly supported Israel because he wanted the British out of the Middle East. He did send planes to Israel via Czechoslovakia. But immediately after the war, he changed his policy and became virulently anti-Israel and pro-Arab. Stalin supported the Arab world's effort to destroy little Israel starting in 1950.

Before his death, Stalin had planned to exterminate all Soviet Jews. He accused them of being "Zionist spies" and "cosmopolitan agents". He used the Soviet media to portray Jews the way Nazi Germany did.

Only the sickest self-hating Jew would be grateful to this Nazi monster Stalin for selling planes to Israel during the 1948 war because he wanted to see the pro-Arab British defeated. We should be grateful to someone who murdered thousands of Jews, had planned to murder all of them, enabled Hitler to exterminate 3 million Polish Jews, and started a campaign in 1950 to destroy Israel? Not to mention that Stalin and the Soviets destroyed millions of Soviet Jews spiritually, taking their Judaism away from them by force.

Yes, he only supported Israel initially because he thought, it would not survive as a state and be destroyed by the Arabs who were also supported by the Soviets.
