What do you think of Arab converts to Jaudism?
« on: May 14, 2007, 05:44:33 PM »
Some Arabs claimed that Jaudism is better religion than Christianity, and they would convert to it. I had asked few Arab Muslim apostate to which religion their leaning to they told me that its Jaudism because it has the most logical explantion, rather than Christianity, which has conflicting stories they claim, but they said Jaudism maintains the story throughout. They also belived that Jaudism is based on the truely God's message, few them that i have talked before wanted to know what Jews think of this and I also want to know of this, some of them claimed their ancestors were racialy jewish.

In my community there was a takanah made against accepting converts, so they wouldnt be allowed to convert.

Perhaps Sarah, in her Berber ancestry, even has Jewish "blood" in her. Many Mizrachi Jews were forcibly converted to Islam by the sword, after all.

I know of at least one Ger Tzedek, Yaakov Jibraeli. He is a doctor who was raised in Islam but converted to Judaism in the early 90's and was even on the Kahane Chai party list.

According to my rabbi, who spoke of this sometimes in his speeches and wrote of this in his books,  "...any arab who converted to Judaism according to Halacha supervised by a proper (read orthodox) rabbi, is as Jewish as Meir Kahane."
HaRav Meir Kahane, ZT"L HY"D

I'll consider this person  to be my brother or sister. Rabbi Kahane also mentioned that a lot of such converts join Kach, as they understand the problem much better than most Jews.

You're a Syrian Jew, Right?

They're the only community that I have heard of that made such a takanah.

If they truly want to be Jews and are sincere I believe it would be good for them.

Babylonian Jew says that North African Jews are converts from The Berbers. That's the opposite of what you say.

Wel North African Jews are divided into the Shepardim and Berber Jews but they have been mixed together. Lets not forget the Khazars who also converted to Jaudism, and anti-Semities say most Ashkenazi Jews are decendants of the Khazars lol. Also the Yemenite kingdoms were mostly of the Jewish religion, so conversion did take place.

But some might use "conversion" as takiyah. There was an Egyptian Arab Muslim Nazi who "converted" to Judaism and "made aliyah" and then he raped Miss Israel in Italy.

He was not true convert, he was probably working as a spy!

I understand him. If your IQ is greater than 80 you should understand that the Islam is an evil religion.

Unless you're racist, they're Jews like everyone else. Actually, Jews and Arabs are of the same race.

Actually no, Jews are from Avraham through his son Yitzchak, Avraham disowned Yishmael and the Arabs are from him. So Arabs trace their line through Yishmael's mother, we trace it through Avraham.

But we're all descended from Abraham, a Semite.

Arabs are Hamitic because Hagar (the concubine who Avraham had the mamzer with) was an Egyptian.

But Yishmael's mother was a egyptian, who in those days were black. They were probably actually from Ham, so that would make them hamites.
