It's really not.  I started learning a few weeks ago and I'm making good progress with it.  My computer and keyboard can't support it though so I just hand-write my exercises etc.  I could teach you a few words if you like.

THE BEST HEBREW WRITING SOFTWARE is something called "ANTIOCH".  It is 100% free but only works with microsoft word.  What makes it unique and easy to use is that it converts english sounding letters into hebrew words so you don't have to learn new keys.  Basically, a B is a bait, an A is an aleph, a T is a Taf and it is really insanely easy to type with it but you must paste your stuff from microsoft word since it only works there.

That is because they are both "semitic" languages.  Remember when you wrote earlier about Antisemitism?  Of which I had explained to you the differences, its history and what it is.  Arabic is a Semitic language of the 7th century desert dwellers of Arabia which had only entered into being via Islam and the Quraan: http://www.indiana.edu/~arabic/arabic_history.htm.  While Hebrew predates Arabic by millenia: http://www.ancient-hebrew.org

You know, I don't want to embarrass myself in front of all the fluent Hebrew speakers.  But here, let me whisper these words in your ears  :

שלום.  אני דיוד.  מי את?  מאיפו את?  אני גר באנגליה.  נעים מאוד!  לילה טןב. 

Reading from right-to-left I hope that says:

Shalom.  Ani David.  Me at?  Me'eifo at?  Ani gar be Angliah.  Na'im meod!  Layla tov.

Being interpreted means:

Hello.  I am David.  Who are you?  Where are you from?  I live in England.  Pleased to meet you!  Good night.
