For whomever believes in prayer
« on: June 10, 2010, 09:32:49 AM »
I have to get on a plane today and for the first time in my life I am significantly nervous, especially in light of the JFK incident within the past two weeks.  I know it sounds bad/selfish to ask but please keep me in your thoughts.  Thank you.  I am not even sure how to pray for a safe trip.

Look at it this way...statistically speaking, you are much more likely to be killed in an automobile accident than in an aircraft accident. So, if you survive the drive to the airport, get on your flight and enjoy the ride.

don't worry it'll be fine..and believe me, if you see a terrorist on board, you can be a hero and stop him and then plug JTF ;)....

JK...you'll be fine.

Perhaps next time, you could get yourself a ham sandwich before boarding the plane.  That way, if a moosie tries anything on the plane, you'll be well armed.

Thanks everybody for all of your well wishes.  I hate that all of us have to fly in fear for our lives, but I would be one of thse passengers, G-d forbid, that would take out his opponent and I know that the safest plane I could ever be on was a plane with other JTFers--fact!  May it never be the case for any of us here or any of our loved ones or ANYONE PERIOD THAT we have to share the friendly skies with these animals

Glad you made it there safe and sound! Enjoy your visit!
