Despite heavy pressure to do so, punk rock singer Johnny Lydon, better known as “Johnny Rotten,” plans to play in Israel next month. Lydon said he had been contacted by many organizations, and had received many insulting letters over his decision not to cancel his concerts in Israel. In interviews in Britain, Lydon said that he did not feel it was fair to punish his fans.

It's better than cancel, still, when are we going to see a rock/pop star coming to Israel who will state, loud and clear, "I am proud to come here because I support Israel and I believe Israel is unfairly criticized throughout the world" ?
