It's hard to believe that Lebanon wants to provoke Israel.  Their army shot and murdered in cold blood, a Jewish officer, and the other  Jewish officer is in critical condition, getting shrapnel removed from his heart.  It's quite apparent from this article they no longer fear the Israeli response.
