muman, the best you can hope for between Jews and Roman Catholics is a peaceful coexistence... 1 billion Catholics are not going to turn their backs on the New Testament to make you or any other Jew happy... If the two groups can't find some common ground to move forward on people will still be having this same discourse a few hundred years from now... I think it would be far more productive to work on things that can be improved moving forward rather then opening old wounds of the past.
