Let's leave the history lesson behind and consider this:  Despite almost 50 years of full-bore racial quotas in colleges and universities, there are still embarrassingly few blacks in the hard sciences and engineering.  And those that are at the university level are almost invariably from the Carribean or Africa itself (ie, not from the United States).

Even with quotas and help from the historically better educated Island Hoppers only very few blacks are people I would consider top in the field people.... As for Washington Carver he was accredited in a time before it was PC to do so so I will give him the credit and respect I would give any white person of similar stature.

Africa is a great continent. Even sub Saharan Africa is very multifacted. It is not that easy. Yes you are right there are in some areas people like you talk about i.e. Somalia.  I have read about this too. But in some other areas it is not like this.

Could you explain what you mean Ulli? I think the greatest achievements Africans made on their own were some folk stories they came up with and some interesting colorful masks for their ceremonies, and shell jewelry. As far as I know, they didn't come up with writing on their own, the wheel, or much of anything. Some have very basic agriculture or clothes making skills.

North Africa doesn't really count because they, for the most part, weren't black.

Arabs are more wicked because they are more capable in some ways. Even Arabs consider blacks to be nothing but a slave race. I don't think anyone should be a slave, but I do think blacks would be more dignified in many ways living a hunting and gathering lifestyle, than being forced to fit into a modern society that most of them can't seem to be able to handle.

Uganda & Kenya are more developed countries.

There are living lots of intelligent people. Westlands quarter in Nairobi look nearly like a western city. I think you are right if you think about Mali, Senegal, Mauretania, north Sudan, north Nigeria etc, but not all countries are like this.

Concerning the inventions, you will not believe, what people produce there on a small scale in craftmen shops i.e. in Nairobi. They are not stupid at all. I think some countries in Africa will develop more in the future and others will go down to stoneage. Perhaps there is a direct connection between downfall with hate and envy towards western countries and acknowledging the own mistakes with trying to improve.

Ulli learning a craft is not the same as inventing it. Even if somewhere along the line a black African did invent something in history, the discovery wasn't able to spread because they didn't have any capability of written language. Europeans, Asians, even Arabs brought them just about everything they know, and the vast majority of them still live in a very primitive way. The more intelligent among them (approaching normal intelligence or having normal intelligence, the higher end of the curve) may be able to do more complex things than the middle and bottom half, but even at that, black Africans never developed anything really on their own without whites or other races to help them.

Hi, i've been reading this site for a while, but wanted to ask a question.  My mom makes me ride to school sometimes with this black kid, and his dad has a doctors degree in black studies.  He says blacks invented math and science but i dont believe him.  He said these videos prove it





How can this be?  What can i say against these videos, can someone help me?

   It's funny that they have no clue about what they read. According to the first video, all of today's technology is nothing compared to an ancient pyramid. The fact that just about every calculus class, even in a majority black school is virtually all white is irrelevant. The lack of modern day black pHd's in science and mathematics is also irrelevant.

Aside from some uses for peanuts that he did come up with (the number is exaggerated because he said openly that many of his own recommendations are coming straight from the US dept of Agriculture, and people make the mistake of assuming everything he said was his own invention - but nonetheless he had some innovations), and came up with very important agricultural theory which paved the way for later advancements.

until about the 16th century, europe was not that far ahead of africa. before that, the 2 were impoverished, undeveloped, and uncivilized continents. sure, europe had writing, but everyone but clergy and nobles was illiterate.

the quality of life in the 2 contents was about the same, people died at 25, infant mortality rate was painfully high, lots of women and babies died in childbirth. there was a famine every other year. there was no toilet paper, no bathrooms for that matter, and when you did get cholera, there was no way to treat it. people died of the pox and the plague left and right.

He does not own the company, he's a "distributor."  It's a company that uses "multilevel marketing," or "network marketing."
