ALL Americans treated the Indians badly.
ALL whites were racist towards blacks during civil rights movement
ALL Germans were bad during World War 2

How come everyone is okay with these generalizations?

But if you generalize about muslims and 911, liberals go nuts???

There have been very, very few Germans who opposed the Nazis. So, in my view, the generalization is basically acceptable in this case, even though there are rare exceptions...
The German people brought Hitler to power. The vast majority of the German people enthusiastically supported him.
