« on: October 19, 2010, 01:19:47 PM »
As usual, these memorials in Israel are poorly attended, with more Shabak agents and informers at the cemetery & in the audience than true Kahanists!

I was at the events last year this year I am back in American (I hate it) There were many many Kahanists at the Kever and the Memorial in Hebrew. The English event had very few atendiees perhaps 40 I think less. What ever it was please make an effort to at least pay a visit to the the Rav's Kever and at least 1 of the events to honor the Rav to helps guide us every day in our Judiasm and overall philosiphy

As I recall, on the slope above the kever, at the Yahrzeits of both Kahanes, there are always 3 or 4 obvious Shabak agents with videos and dark glasses and smirky grins recording the attenders. And this apart from the informers with knitted kippot and big beards within our own ranks. Shmuel Sackett addressed the February 199 Jerusalem Kahane Chai meet with "and a particularly warm welcome to the GSS members in the audience!". Immediately after his address, BZK had to flee the hall to avoid arrest.

Is the memorial in Israel or will there also be one in NY?

According to this http://www.jpost.com/Israel/Article.aspx?id=192878
1000 attended today's Kahane Memorial meet in Jerusalem which was a ripping success.

Why isn't it reported on Arutz 7 at all?!

Last year it was held in a small social hall where Baruch Marzel, Michael Ben Ari, Itamr Ben Gvir and Rabbi Kahane's Rosh Yeshvia HaRav Yehuda Krozer spoke. They showed a video and had a guest speaker. I'd say there were over 700 the place was packed.

This leftist doctor Mark Clarfield from the USA now at BGU http://fohs.bgu.ac.il/research/PersonalWebSite1main.aspx?id=Veudtetju

tried & almost succeeded in getting this week's Kahane meet at the Jerusalem Ramada banned!
