I was going to start a new thread about this article until I saw the thread you posted.  Good that someone else noticed this!  I don't believe that there should be any prohibition against killing "innocent" civilians who let Hamas control their area and who let them fire Qassams nearby.  We should never risk the lives of any Jew, whether he be a civilian or in the military in order to save some Palestinians who are complicit in murder.  Bomb the entire areas!  Only when the civilians themselves are scared to harbor terrorists will they resist the terrorists in any way.

This is nonsense.  Most of the IDF soldiers are willing to give their lives for Israel, as demonstrated time and time again.  The bolshevik leftists are the ones who get military exemptions or who move outside of Israel in order to avoid service.  Apparently you have never been to Israel and spoken to the brave IDF soldiers who know very clearly what their goal and purpose is.  There were hundreds of these men who gave their lives in the recent war with Lebanon and how dare you question their loyalty.  Your position is a result of ignorance and is completely disgusting.

I think telling him about JTF would be a mistake, he and Chaim differ in regard to the Notzrim, Chaim chooses to follow the lenient opinion of the Meiri, Rav Eliyahu HaTzadik shlita follows the Rambam.
