Helmut Seifert, 47, an ethnic German originally from Russia, was enraged when he heard his 17-year-old daughter was having a relationship with Phillip Genscher, 57.

He went to police in the town of Bielefeld where he lives but officers said they were powerless to intervene.

"The man then recruited two work colleagues at his factory and then went to the house of the victim," said police.

 
 
"The man was forced to remove his trousers and, fully conscious, he was castrated. The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator."

The man was close to bleeding to death but managed to call police. His life was saved but he remains a eunuch for life.

Seifert pleaded guilty and will be on trial for attempted murder next year. But he has remained silent on who his accomplices were.

He told police: "I received a phone call anonymously that my daughter was involved with a guy 40 years older than her. You said you couldn't stop him - so I did.

"I saw it as my duty as a father."

What that pervert did was definitely not right, but he didn't rape that 17 y.o. slut (she's not an innocent child). Her father should have raised her better and maybe he should blame himself.
I don't know what the sentence for this kind of fornication is, but I'm pretty sure Torah doesn't mention castration. And it applies for both man and woman involved.

It's a horrible choice to be confronted with however the victim was kind of old castration may not be as big a deal for him as it would be for a younger person... Sounds like that part of his body was getting him into hot water anyway...  Honestly the guy should have taken issue with his daughter ...17 is not exactly child molestation.

Killing him would have been better really. What was done to him was just absolute cruelty. I don't think that a 57 year old should be with a 17 year old, but if both were over the age of consent (some places are 17, some older) then I think that there was nothing the police could have done. This doesn't give the father license to do this to another human being, which is far worse than what the 57 year old did.
