You do realize that David HaMelech was descended from a convert, we dont make distinctions between the children of converts and those with many generations of Jewish anscestory
Who said anything about making distinctions between them? I'm just speaking of reality. The issue was ethnicity, not whether we should or should not distinguish between different Jewish groups. If someone chooses to make distinctions based off of that reality, that's his personal choice.
It may be a personal choice, but it is a false choice. The truth is that Judaism is not a race nor an ethnicity.. it is a religion that any can become if they want to be. righteous Jews = righteous gentiles in Gd's eyes no matter what Jew or gentile thinks. One is no better than the other.
