Druzim
« on: June 03, 2007, 06:44:13 PM »
Chaim wrote that "Druze are an offshoot of Islam who support Islamic terrorism".

The Druze are like mercenaries: they'll fight and give their loyalty to the highest payer.

After ther 1837 earthquake, they descended from Syria and viciously pillaged the Jews in Safed and the Galilee.

The Druze leader in Lebanon, Walid Jumblatt, is an extreme enemy of Israel.

But in the 2006 Lebanon war, the only Zahal troops who were able to notch up a worthwhile body count of Hizbollah fighters in had to hand combat were the Druze fighters of the "Cherev Batallion"!

I don't think Chaim was correct to say that Druze support Islamic terrorism.  The Druze pretty much HATE muslims, at least in my experience and many of them sign up for the military and are loyal citizens in other respects.  It is true that they are like mercenaries though.  They have an idea in their faith that says that they should be loyal to the primary political establishment of whichever country they're in.  That means that if arab muslim nazis were to ever become a majority in Israel G-d forbid and take over Parliament and other government positions, they would probably side with them.  They are loyal citizens of Israel for the most part though.
"The Jews will eventually have to face up to what you're dealing with here.  The arabs will never love you for what good you've brought them.  They don't know how to really love.  But hate!  Oh, G-d, can they hate!  And they have a deep, deep, deep resentment because you have jolted them from their delusions of grandeur and shown them for what they are-a decadent, savage people controlled by a religion that has stripped them of all human ambition . . . except for the few cruel enough and arrogant enough to command them as one commands a mob of sheep.  You are dealing with a mad society and you'd better learn how to control it."

The Druze religion combines Indian mystism and Islam, with the Paltoian thought. The Druze are loyal to Israel and don't support terrorism, they don't know their theology until the age of 40

I wonder if in a Kahanist govt whether they would be allowed to stay or be forced to revoke their voting rights if they were allowed to stay.

Kahanism is merely true Torah Halachism.

The Halacha is that gentiles can reside in Israel, but only if subject to

1) misim: they pay taxes

2) shibud: they have no political rights ie no votes, even for loyal Druze

The latter point is a complete and utter anathema of the highest degree to the modern democratic mindset, which is why almost all of Israel (including the Haredim) would rise as one to literally put to death anyone who tried to remove the equal political rights of "Aravim Shelanu!"

This reason alone is why the Medinas Yisroel as we know it has got to go!
