I don't know either, but I guess it comes from the idea that pigs are dirty creatures that eat slop and cool off in the mud. I'm not the biggest fan of police to be honest. I think many of them are just as interested in crime as the criminals and I don't have a lot of trust for them. I'm sure there are many good ones though and I know it's necessary to have a police force.
