IDF Judea and Samaria Cmdr. Regrets but Does Not Condemn Killing

The Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brig. Gen. Nitzan Alon, addressed this morning's shootings of Israeli worshippers near Joseph's Tomb in Shechem by Palestinian Authority security forces without any noticeable emotion, and did not say one word blaming the PA for murdering an unbillegerent  Israeli citizen at close range.


The IDF statement issued together with Brig.-Gen. Alon's short video statement said: "The shooting killed one Israeli, Ben Yosef Livnat, and wounded four others. The IDF expresses its condolences to the Livnat family."

"Visits to Joseph's Tomb must be coordinated in advance so that Israeli security forces may provide proper arrangements for the safety of worshippers. Arriving at the Tomb independently without prior coordination is extremely dangerous."

INN Editor comments: Does this mean that the cold blooded murder of a man going to pray was justified? Is it par for the course when the perpetrators are Arabs? One could almost infer that from the lack of any condemnation of the murderers on the part of Gen. Alon.

The need for coordination is a security measure aimed at Israelis. The act of murder is a barbaric deed in itself whether or not it was made easier by lack of coordination with the IDF. (R.S. INN editor).<<<

Who the hell chooses people like this.  If the effort is to degrade, demorlaiz and destroy Jews, eichman could not have done better.

That is a compliment compared to what I would say.  I could not describe my feelings about this and keep the words decent.

I pray something happens to Alon's family for not condemning the murder of the young Jewish man (father of 4).   I hope an Arab takes care of business on Alon's family, very soon.  Then he would know exactly how it feels.  And be taught a good lesson.  One that he won't forget

The lives of his family are no more important than the young Jewish man who was murdered by the Arab.  And probably worth less.

I too condemn this man. It is hard to judge others, but outright evil is to be condemned. Anyone who thinks that killing a Jew who is praying is OK for any reason is a mean and wicked person. It breaks my heart that there are Israelis who are so cowardly and morally bankrupt to not stand up for what is right and oppose that which is wrong.

And guess what, probably at least 50% of the Israeli public, even if they don't approve of it outright, will buy the Israeli government line on it and accept it.

How will Hashem judge this?

If Hashem doesn't judge Israel for committing (or even just tolerating) the abominations that are practiced therein today, he will owe Sedom & Amorra an apology big-time.
