He's helping al Qaeda establish an islamic republic in Libya. The "rebels" are wholesale slaughtering black African laborers in Libya as well. It's a total disgrace that NATO was involved in this idiotic, pro-al Qaeda war. I hope this idiot gets severely injured and he can realize how stupid he is.

This college kid doesn't seem like he is motivated by any sort of ideology, he just seems like a young person who is being overly reckless and has a sense of adventure that is a bit beyond what a reasonable sense of adventure is.

He's also an adult and capable of making moral decisions. Getting involved in a revolution, whether it's a good cause or not, is a serious act with real-life consequences. He's old enough to know this.
