The Oslo Accord is NEARLY Dead! Hallelukah!
« on: November 01, 2011, 04:08:51 PM »
Leave it to the Arabs to violate the very agreements which were supposed to help them. By pushing unilaterally for UN recognition the arab 'Palestinian Authority' has violated the Oslo accord, thus breaching the agreement and annulling it. I do not believe that Israel should be bound to any of the suicidal Oslo agreement which has killed more Jews in recent history than any other failed agreement with the enemies of the Jewish people, the arab pigs.

We need to get the message out that Israel has no more obligation to keep to an agreement which has been peed on by the arab leadership.

Is Oslo agreement dead?

Will Israeli-Palestinian accords be annulled in wake of Abbas' UN bid? Deputy FM Ayalon says PA leader 'changing the game,' warns Israel will now be able to respond without limitations stemming from past deals, including Oslo

Diplomatic earthquake in store? The upcoming Palestinian statehood bid constitutes a "new game" that will allow Israel to respond without being constrained by past agreements, Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon says.

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas is "not only changing the rules of the game, but the game itself," Ayalon told Ynet Friday. "Israel knows how to respond and from now on would be able to realize its interests without any limitations or concessions stemming from previous agreements, including the Oslo Accords."

The implicit threat was voiced by Ayalon after Abbas delivered a dramatic speech in Ramallah earlier Friday, declaring that the Palestinians will be seeking full UN membership and approaching the Security Council later this month.

The deputy FM's words may indicate that should the Palestinian go ahead with their UN bid, Israel would view itself as absolved of the obligations of the Oslo Accords, which call for Israel and the Palestinian Authority to bridge their differences through negotiations, rather than unilaterally. Such move would fundamentally change the current relationship between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

Now that the cursed UNESCO has accepted the terrorist PA organization Israel has ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION to commit suicide as the Oslo agreement stipulated... Time to tear up the worthless piece of paper this 'agreement' was scribbled on...

Time to show our arab 'cousins' some TOUGH LOVE!    SHIP EM OUT OF OUR LAND!

http://www.thecommentator.com/article/477/the_oslo_accords_are_dead_and_the_palestinians_killed_them

The Oslo Accords are dead, and the Palestinians killed them

The Oslo Accords are dead. They have been null and void since September 23rd 2011. And in the absence of a framework for peace to which the Palestinians are willing to adhere, it is the prerogative of the Israeli people to act in their own best interests.

The Oslo Accords are dead.

They are no more. They have ceased to be. They've expired and gone to meet their maker. Bereft of life, they rest in peace. They're pushing up the daisies. They are history. Off the twig. Kicked the bucket. They've shuffled off their mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!

These are ex-accords!

Is that absolutely clear?

Apparently not, because still we hear talk of the Israeli government threatening to torpedo the agreements in retaliation for the Palestinian Authority's unilateral statehood bid.

In June, the Guardian ran with the story "Israel warns Palestinians all deals are off if UN vote goes ahead", and since then the notion of Israel "tearing up" the Oslo Accords has become a popular refrain in the newspaper's coverage of Mahmoud Abbas' plans for Palestinian independence.

And in a testament to the principle that a big lie told often enough soon becomes received wisdom (in which the Guardian is well practiced), even the Daily Mail mentioned in a recent report that "Israeli ministers are threatening to rip up the Oslo accords".

But the truth is that Israel can no more break with the Oslo Accords than Russia could break with the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.

Now, an expert on international law I am not. But I am - I think it fair to say - literate. And basic literacy is really the only qualification one needs to recognise that the Oslo Accords have been null and void since September 23rd 2011.

The 1993 Declaration of Principles clearly stipulates that a Palestinian state should only be pursued "through the agreed political process".

The subsequent 1995 Interim Agreement ("Oslo 2") goes further, explicitly prohibiting either side from taking "any step that will change the status of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip pending the outcome of the permanent status negotiations".

If seeking official UN recognition of Palestine as a state isn't attempting to change the status of the Palestinian territories, then what is?

There is no excuse for breaking with protocol in this manner.

Nobody can seriously argue that Israel has not been committed to fruitful negotiations, or the painful concessions which they invariably entail. Generous offers of Palestinian statehood were forthcoming from Ehud Barak in 2000 and Ehud Olmert in 2008, and they were met with rejection on both occasions.

Even Benjamin Netanyahu - a "hawk" by many people's standards - made the unprecedented step of freezing settlement construction for ten months, though that too failed to entice the Palestinian negotiators.

To all but those blinded by their hatred for the Jewish state, it is abundantly clear that the Palestinian Authority - not Israel - has killed the Oslo Accords.

Thus, Israel is both legally and morally unbound by its previous obligations. And in the absence of a framework for peace to which the Palestinians are willing to adhere, it is the prerogative of the Israeli people to act in their own best interests.

For their part, Palestinians will have to live with the consequences of their leaders' transgression.

Eulogy for the Oslo Accords
October 4, 2011, 5:45 pm
by Steven Shamrak

On September 28th, the world was supposed to celebrate, but conveniently forgot the anniversary of the Israeli-Palestinian Interim Agreement, widely known as the Oslo Accords. Three political stooges, Yasser Arafat, Yitzhak Rabin, and Shimon Perez received the Nobel Peace Prize for signing this worthless piece of paper, which was based on fake promises made by Yasser Arafat in a letter to then Israeli Prime Minister Rabin on September 9, 1993.

In this letter Yasser Arafat promised: “The PLO considers that the signing of the Declaration of Principles constitutes an historic event, inaugurating a new epoch of peaceful coexistence, free from violence and all other acts which endanger peace and stability. Accordingly, the PLO [Palestinian Liberation Authority] renounces the use of terrorism and other acts of violence and will assume responsibility over all PLO elements and personnel in order to assure their compliance, prevent violations and discipline violators.”

It was particularly not convenient to celebrate the dead accord when Mahmoud Abbas came to the UN and put the final nail in its coffin by unilaterally abandoning the principles of negotiation and undermining stability of the peace process.

Due to enormous political pressure exerted on Israel by the Clinton administration to sign the Oslo Agreement, many parts of it were deliberately written ambiguously to make it open to interpretation. Israel was prepared to allowed limited autonomy to the non-Jewish populations of Judea, Samaria and Gaza, but the PLO was determined to obtain statehood as the first step towards future territorial expansion with the inclusion of the land of Israel, and possibly Jordan, as part of Palestine.

Many promises were made clearly but deceitfully by Arafat and never delivered:

*    Terror attacks on Israel have never stopped.
*    The then newly-created Palestinian Authority (PA) regularly sabotaged negotiations, endangering peace and stability by breaking them and calling for international pressure on Israel.

Terrorists of Fatah (a wing of the PLO), and of Hamas and other Islamic organizations, freely conducted and continue to conduct their bloody business. Often, the terrorist actions were/are coordinated by the PA to meet its political aim.

When the Oslo Agreement was signed, several important undertakings were promised by the PLO, but not delivered by the PA’s Arafat and Abbas:

*    Israel is still not legally recognised by the Palestinian Authority or by any major organisations like PLO or Hamas.
*    The new Palestinian entity created by Oslo was/is supposed to be a democracy. After the last Palestinian election, which Hamas won, Abbas illegally retained control of the PA and the next election is long overdue. Therefore, the current PA leadership is not legitimate or democratically elected representatives of so-called “Palestinians.”
*    Oslo Article XI Land 1: “The two sides view the West Bank and the Gaza Strip as a single territorial unit…” — at the moment there are two defacto governing bodies: 1) the PA, Fatah controlled section in Judea and Samaria and 2) Hamas in Gaza.
*    Terrorist attacks on Israel have never stopped. Israel was forced to build a wall around the West Bank to stop suicide bombers, who were mainly recruited by Fatah. Gaza was sealed due to terror attacks instigated by Hamas.
*    Article XXII Relations between Israel and the Council 2: “Israel and the Council will ensure that their respective educational systems contribute to the peace between the Israeli and Palestinian peoples and to peace in the entire region…” — the PA has never stopped anti-Israel propaganda. Martyrdom is glorified in the press and in mosques, kindergartens and schools by both Fatah and Hamas.

The Oslo agreement expired several years ago. It has not brought peace, but exposed lies and treachery. Instead of negotiating peace, the PA regularly has walked away from the negotiation table in pursuit of hypocritical international support in order to pressure Israel for more concessions, giving nothing in return.

This agreement was dead on arrival. It must be viewed by Israel as a lesson, which many terror experts insist on: “Never negotiate with terrorists!” So-called “Palestinian” people are in truth a fake nationality which was forged by Arabs in 1964 in order to destroy Israel. They are not interested in peace with Israel. They are occupiers of Jewish land.

Israel must realise that the only way to resolve the conflict is to utilise self-reliance and determination to end the occupation of Jewish land by Arabs and so-called “Palestinians.” The painful experience of the Oslo “peace process” has proven one obvious point: Arabs will never agree to peace with Israel. The Jewish state has done everything possible to establish peace with the terror infested “Palestinian” entity. Any other country or nation would not even bother. Therefore, it is time to reclaim Jewish land, transfer an enemy population to the Sinai or to other numerous Arabs states, those who claim to care so much about the “poor Palestinians”. (Why can’t Arab states accept Palestinians? In order to have peace, Israel forcibly and unilaterally removed 8,500 Jews from Gaza. That did not stop terror attacks. The PA insists that all Jews must be removed from Judea and Samaria. So why not also remove Arabs from Jewish land?) This is the only option Israel has. The alternative is the annihilation of the Israeli people.

Arabs respect strong opponents. It is integral to their national makeup. When Israel demonstrated its military superiority it was respected not just by Arab states, but by most countries, including the Soviet Union. It is time to stop being, “a little ghetto Jew”, end the policy of appeasement of international anti-Semitic bigots who will never be content with Jews, and stand up for Jewish rights.

Palestine is Eretz-Israel — the Land of Israel. It is the Jewish ancestral land, which was promised to Jews by G-d and even by a resolution of the League of Nations passed in 1922. It is time to take it back.

IMO, these people are dreaming.  Oslo is alive and well.   It does not matter what agreements are kept, what are broken, what the arabs do or don't do.  Israel is on a path of suicide and letting nothing get in its way.  Oslo continues piece by piece by piece...

Well, if you say so.... Really!?!

I think it must be made clear that the arabs have no intention of keeping 'their end' of any agreement which has been made between the Israelis and the arabs. The Oslo 'agreements' were proven to be a big waste of everyone's time so many times that it is almost comical that anyone considers it an 'agreement'. The arab leader abbas has openly stated that he will make no concessions concerning several issues, thus making pre-conditions to continued negotiations.

It must be clear that Israel HAS conceded several issues including the expulsions from Gaza and Amona, the one year building freeze which was completely ignored by the arab leaders who expect continued freezes, and a variety of other issues which at one time Israel would never have even been discussing.

Congoleesa Rice was in the news today. She confirmed that the Self-Hating bolshevik kapo Olmert was prepared to give the arabs 94% of the entire land that the arabs demanded, including Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. Only because of the grace of Hashem was the deal averted because the arab abbas got greedy and wanted more. These sick animals cannot understand peace, they only demand, and demand more, and they usually get what they want. The arab leader is a despicable scoundrel, who the media of the nations of the world adore when he smiles that feces-eating grin of his.

I have faith that the evil creatures known as arabs who are attempting boldly to steal Jewish land and using the hatred of the nations to help achieve their dastardly goals will eventually be dealt a cruel blow, a death blow of sorts, and then we will see peace in the middle east.

Rice’s account confirms then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s claim that he had laid out a comprehensive proposal for peace during secret meetings with Rice and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Rice said Abbas ultimately rejected the proposal, for which she said she does not blame him. The Palestinians deny that Abbas did so.

In the book, Rice recounts a private dinner with Olmert in May 2008 when she said he presented the plan.

It contained ways to address the most difficult issues preventing Israel and the Palestinians from agreeing on terms for a separate Palestinian state, she wrote. Olmert proposed a system for shared jurisdiction of Jerusalem and return of a limited number of Palestinians who left their homes in what is now Israel when the Jewish state was created in 1948, Rice wrote.

Olmert also would end the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and hand over about 94 percent of the territory to the Palestinians for the bulk of their state, she wrote.

“Concentrate, concentrate,” Rice describes herself as thinking as Olmert spoke. “This is unbelievable.”

PS: Netanyahu will be replaced with a more nationalist Prime Minister eventually. I agree that the current leadership is spineless.

The arabs have no problem abrogating the oslo agreement. As this article shows that the arabs are prepared to forget about any agreement they have made...

http://israelmatzav.blogspot.com/2011/11/palestinians-to-gain-control-of-josephs.html

'Palestinians' to gain control of Joseph's tomb and other Judea and Samaria sites

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that now that the 'Palestinians' have joined UNESCO, they will seek control of Joseph's tomb, the Church of the Nativity and other religious sites in Judea and Samaria.

Significant religious sites throughout the West Bank, including the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem and Joseph's Tomb in Nablus, will be among the first to be pushed forward for world heritage status now Palestine has been granted membership of UNESCO.

A Palestinian Authority spokesman there were many sites and shrines in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip that until now had been unprotected because of a lack of recognition and funding.

''Now we will be able to protect them and make sure they are known around the world,'' he said. ''We believe that becoming a member of the UNESCO is an overdue right for a country that has such a significant amount of heritage sites.''
Advertisement: Story continues below

Tourism - particularly religious tourism - is a hotly contested issue between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The authority claims agreements such as the 1994 Paris Protocol severely restrict tourism and therefore economic development in the Palestinian territories.

I guess the 'Palestinians' aren't worried too much about abrogating the Oslo Accords, which govern the current arrangements. Hmmm.

Well, if you say so.... Really!?!

Um ok but nothing in what you wrote below this challenged anything I said.  In fact some of what you wrote proves me right.

These very facts should indicate to you that the oslo path continues no matter what the arabs say or do.  They'll even call it "unilateral" if they have to.  (As w disengagement).

Check mate.

Also, not sure what you mean by "it must be made clear" - made clear to whom?  We certainly already know this and its why I'm saying what I'm saying.  You mean there is someone in the UN you're going to impress with this suicide junk?  That's what the israeli govt claims too.  A massive delusion, but unlike you I really do not believe that they believe it.  So what is your excuse for believing that somehow concessions are going to impress someone and they'll jump in and say ok we're calling it all off, no more partition of Israel.

I believe that people do learn and change and do desire to do the right thing. Although it is true that there is always a current which will go against the Jews even when we are right, I have to believe that there is a vast majority of people in the 'world view' who don't really know the facts. The media is very biased and it is a fact that most people don't really know that Israel has done these things, in the hopes to achieve peace.

You are wrong to suggest that I condone doing these things. My point was to point out that we must work hard to change the worlds opinion on the topic. The propaganda which the arabs have produced is very believable and there are vast parts of the world which get this twisted arab view that the Israelis are mistreating the arabs.

My solution is not to impress the nations of the Jewish peoples kindness, but to demonstrate the the Jewish people have principles and laws which are designed to ensure the continuity of the Jewish people. Helping others is a noble trait, but helping ones family and ones people takes precedence over helping strangers.

My experience is that there are many people out there who want to learn about the truth of the Bible, and who believe that we are truly the chosen people of G-d. If only we are able to demonstrate our ability to act intelligently and forcefully then we will impress the nations and we will fulfill the goal of being the light among nations. When we act foolishly as a people we do not glorify G-d, and we lose our heritage...

My suggestion is to continue to explain these issues to all those who want to know the truth... Oslo accord is a joke at this time... To continue trying to satisfy it's conditions is foolish..

1.  These things the Israelis have given to the Arabs were NOT an example of Jews being right.  They were an example of Jews telling the world, "yes the arabs are right, we are usurpers, but look at what benevolent thieves we are, giving them so much, in order to appease them and you.  Now please love us !"   The world looks at this and says, "You are Thieves and you admit it!      We do not love nor respect when you surrender, but it is "justice" in our eyes and we want to see more of it."

2.  People knowing the stupid idiotic suicidal surrender decisions Israel has made will not change the world's opinion.   How do I know?  Because historical example after historical example has proven this.   It doesn't matter how much self-flagellation and cliff-jumping Israel does - NO ONE IS IMPRESSED.    You are not going to impress anyone.   It's time Jews move on from the stupid galut mentality of "If we only show the goyim how good we are, they will finally love us."   Instead of seeking their love, instead do what is necessary for survival, and maybe they'll respect us for it, maybe not, but survival is more important than "convincing" a peanut gallery full of third-world morons and European nazi scum.

Don't believe I suggested that in any of my comments, but you are starting to sound that way with this latest post.

I know that was your point, and I disagree with your point.   The whole point of my point was to turn your point on its head cause it doesn't make sense!  (how's that for a tongue twister?).    The world's opinion is NOT what Jews should be worried about.

And why waste energy trying to convince people you are not harming arabs?   Do such people matter?  If you have leadership with courage to do what is necessary, all the people in the world crying "oh but you are not kind enough to Arabs" are like the chirping of crickets.  Completely irrelevant and useless.

What I'm telling you is that the Israeli regime continues to fulfill the stipulations of Oslo Accords  (and Oslo redux known as Roadmap) because they believe in it, and they do not think it's foolish, and the game will go on, no matter how many intelligent articles are written showing how stupid it is.
