He doesn't praise the Hezbullah, he says that they use health clinics which they operate as a method of propaganda and he basically says that America should mimic them and offer free healthcare to muslim Nazis as means of convincing them not to engage in terrorism.

While it is incorrect to say he praised Hezbullah, his words show how little he understands about muslim people. Any initiative on the part of the US to provide freebies to muslim Nazis would only be perceived as weakness and answered with contempt, threats, and complains.

Yes it is a problem to use them as an example and particularly on this issue. There may be other cases when one can say we need to learn to do something like our enemies do it because they do it better.

Using tactics learned from the enemy is one thing, but the way Romney talks about Hezbollah in this clip puts them in a positive light. He doesn't even remotely imply anything bad about them. He could have easily said that even though he doesn't agree with the organization itself, this is a technique they used to gain good will in the region. He didn't offer any kind of disclaimer like that at all, and best of all would not to have even used them as an example but simply made his point without it because to give them this kind of credit puts them in a positive light and they don't deserve that.

He is not really praising Hezbollah, he is just saying that they use 'free healthcare' as a tool to gain support.. that I agree with... HOWEVER... the conclusion he makes from this is DEEPLY flawed and disturbing.
