Majority age in the US?

How old, do you think, a person should be to become an adult and get all adult priviliges (vote, army, life responsibility etc)?

Honestly I think a lot of people are a lot more immature than they used to be. I think voting should be reserved for people 25 and older but other priveleges can be younger.

I think some people would be ready to join the military at 16 actually.

Drinking/cigarettes could be 18.

for once, lets let cultural relativism take charge. 15 in Israel, 21 in America.

.... I think voting should be reserved for people 25 and older but other priveleges can be younger.

....

I would eliminate the voting age entirely. The simple fact is that voting rates among <30s are abysmal. Meaning that only 1% of the new voter's pool will actually vote. We can probably assume that the 1% who care enough to vote know why they are voting the way they do.

Meerkat I want to stop younger voters if possible because they are often very liberal and sometimes when they grow up and mature a bit they turn more conservative.
