That is very true - Scriabin!
I envy people that truly know how to tell their brain to shut up and stop over thinking everything.

Be very CAREFUL of people whose WORDS don't match their ACTIONS.

The only way i can stop myself thinking is to do something mindless or simply watch t.v.

Liberals mastered the art of shutting their brains off decades ago.

Fake conservatives learned how to shut them off too... completely off.

the best way is to be immersed in deep prayer where you either feel nullified (which happens sometimes), or where you do get to think but its the good type of thinking being completly focused and centered.
The Academy of Elijah taught, whoever studies the laws (of the Torah) every day, (he) is guaranteed to have a share in the World to Come.

‏119:139 צִמְּתַתְנִי קִנְאָתִי כִּישָׁכְחוּ דְבָרֶיךָ צָרָי
My zeal incenses me, for my adversaries have forgotten Your words.
‏119:141 צָעִיר אָנֹכִי וְנִבְזֶה פִּקֻּדֶיךָ, לֹא שָׁכָחְתִּי.
I am young and despised; I have not forgotten Your precepts.

" A fool does not realize, and an unwise person does not understand this (i.e. the following:) When the wicked bloom like grass, and the evildoers blossom (i.e. when they seem extremly successful), it is to destroy them forever (i.e. they are rewarded for their few good deeds in this World, and they will have no portion in the World to Come!)

Certainly the most important thoughts we have are acheived through prayer.

I agree, at times the less you think the better off you are for sure.

You're right, Tzvi.  The right kind of thinking is good.

Most thoughts, I feel, are unnecessary.

I always wonder what ignorant people are thinking but then i think, maybe i'm ignorant for thinking that.....and so it goes on. VERY unnecessary.
