He needs to be careful how he defends his picture too. He shouldn't say for example "this is the way a normal person grows up" or he'll get more hate and spew thrown at him because he will have categorized normal people as normal.

I hear what your saying about being careful however being careful an complying with the politically correct social code is just whats being imposed on this kid...  He should have painted in one of the parents faces black and resubmitted the same picture

Yes or he could have drawn the boy in the pic as a black and had him end up with a white "Transwoman" with 2 kids of 2 different races.
