Obama's book caught in lies

Today on Rush Limbaugh, Rush interviewed an author/editor who has caught several lies in Obama's autobiography:

-Obama claimed that his Kenyan grandfather was captured and tortured by the British -LIE! This never happened
-Obama claimed that his stepfather was killed by Dutch troops- LIE! Never happened.

You know what would happen to an author who made things up? They would be humiliated by the literary community for lack of ethics. But what will happen to Obama? The man who exposed this is David Maraniss. And he has been interviewed about this however it has not become breaking news, yet. I wonder if the public will call out Obama on this?
