I'm glad to be new, it's well.
I'm not Jewish but I'm something close- I'm Bulgarian, and we and East Europe Jews are related of each other. We are good friends of the Serbs too who are best friends. In medieval times we were empire with the Khazars who converted to Judaism and at one point many Bulgarians converted to Judaism who descendants are now assimilate in the Jewish community all around East Europe. There is also monument to Bulgarian who saved Jews in WWII- in fact, not one Jew from Bulgaria was deport even though when croat pigs ravaged our country when in the ss hitler told them to find capture Jews- Bulgarians didn't let them do it! Today there is still 50,000 Jews in Bulgaria.
I'm also an immigrant to NY from Romania.
Oh yeah there also a monument in Jaffa Israel to Bulgarians who helped Jews during WWII:
We are very proud to be friends of Jews & Serbs!
