The conservatives did kind of get into office in the UK
and a lot of success must be ascribed to the party's advertising.

Here are two of their more effective campaign ads which are worth a look and study.
  The second one had me almost believing in them.

I don't see how global warming would hurt Britain seeing as if there were another Ice Age then Britain would be in danger from the growing glaciers. It would seem like they of all people wouldn't mind a little bit of warming.
