Prayer page
« on: October 15, 2012, 07:56:16 PM »
On this page, we will all submit prayers for the victory of G-d willing President Romney over Barack Hussein Obama, and his horde of George Soros controlled Jew-hating islamist supporting lackeys. I know that some democrats think that prayer should only ever be a private thing, but I respectfully disagree.

I don't mind what name you use to pray to, and ask JTF members to respect our sincere faith in G-d, but do not like islam, so no muslim "God" prayers here. Let us begin.

Dear G-d of Abraham and of Isaac and of Moses and of David,

Please bless the governor Mitt Romney and help him to take control from the forces of evil that are trying to erase your many blessings on the American people and bring a curse into the land. Thwart their efforts to rig, cheat, lie and steal the election from Mitt Romney. Stop the lies that have poisoned the minds of your children the American people, and bring truth to light on all that Barack Hussein Obama has done to hurt them and encourage them to sin in your sight. Bless the governor that he may be your true servant, and bless him that he may find and be given the courage and strength to thwart the Iranian nuclear bomb production, that your children and servants in the land of America and Israel are not struck with a deadly nuclear holocaust.

Bless the minds of voters, and make them clear to know the choice between prosperity and peace or sin and damnation, and make them filled with righteousness and desire to see their country grow and their neighbors survive. Make the sinful ways that have encouraged people against reason to support Barack Hussein Obama be as rotten filth in their eyes, and fill them with your wisdom that they may long for your ways. Make the purity and righteousness that sustained America and made her great by your hand be a thing of longing for all your children, and may they know your truth and the way to victory and salvation.

May they, the citizens of America, choose governor Mitt Romney despite his past sinful ways, and may the evil that Barack Hussein Obama has wrought on the American land be chased away by your will, and America become your loyal servant and loving child once again.

Amen

Prayer is always more powerful when more individuals are involved. This is why, in Judaism, we have special prayers which are said when a minyan (a minimum of at least 10 adult males) is present.

Generally Jews have prayed according to the Siddur (Order/prayerbook) and we only insert our personal prayers at appropriate times (during the prayer service, such as during the Amidah/Standing prayer). But from time to time we can compose our own special prayers in times of need.

Here is the traditional Yekum Purkan prayer :

“May salvation arise from heaven.  May grace, kindness and mercy – long life, ample sustenance and divine aid; physical health, perfect vision, and healthy children who will never neglect the study of the Torah – be granted to our scholars and teachers, to the holy societies that are in the land of Israel and in the land of Babylon, to the heads of the academies (ישיבות) and the chiefs of the captivity, the presidents of the colleges and the judges of the towns, to their disciples and the disciples of their disciples, and to all who study the Torah.  May the King of the universe bless them, prolong their lives, and increase their days and add to their years; may they be saved and delivered from all distress and disease.  May our Lord who is in heaven be their help at all times; and let us say, Amen”
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
