Non-Jewish IDF Soldier Found to be Neo-Nazi
« on: November 14, 2012, 12:43:56 AM »
A non-Jewish IDF soldier who immigrated to Israel from Russia was arrested Wednesday and found to belong to a neo-Nazi organization.
Police detectives searched the IDF soldier's vehicle after they deemed his behavior suspicious. Heroin was found and he was arrested. During his arrest, the soldier told the police officers that he was a neo-Nazi and hated the State of Israel.

The 20-year-old soldier, who serves in a non-combat position, has a swastika tattooed on his left arm.

After searching his and his mother's home in the Samaria city of Ariel, police discovered Nazi literature and material on his computer from neo-Nazi groups around the globe. He even showed the officers personal correspondence between himself and neo-Nazi groups.

He hates Jews, hates the IDF and considers himself a Nazi, according to a police spokesman.

The soldier's mother, who immigrated to Israel with her son four years ago, also professed support for neo-Nazi groups and hatred for Israel. She was also taken into custody for possible connection with neo-Nazi groups.

"We immigrated for the absorption package," the soldier's mother said when challenged.

During the subsequent police investigation, suspicions arose that the two may have immigrated to Israel using counterfeit documents. However, due to the complex nature of Israel's Law of Return, it is possible that they arrived legitimately. The law, modeled in response to the Nazi Nuremberg Laws, gives anyone with even one Jewish grandparent the right to receive automatic Israeli citizenship.

The Interior Ministry said it was checking into the matter and will consider revoking the citizenship of the two if they indeed used fraudulent documents, but warned that such action is complicated from a legal perspective.

The Rebbe had a whole Sicha on "Mihu Yehudi" and he screamed at the then traitorous Israeli politicians who were letting these people in.  Having a single "Jewish Grandparent" does not qualify halachically as being Jewish.  The Nazi "Right Of Return" will be abolished when Kahane takes power.  False converts and neo-nazis will be thrown back from whence they came.  So called Orthodox Rabbis who perform conversions which are not in accordance with Shulchan Aruch will be exposed.

The so-called Orthodox Rabbis are responsible for many mamzerim from invalid divorces.  Watch Rabbi David Eidensohn's videos on Youtube about this.

The so called "Kahanist" (sic) keneset member Dr. Michael Ben Ari & his cohorts Baruch Marzel & Itamar Ben Gvir have been totally silent on this issue.
They are too busy making noise about the schvartzers in Tel Aviv from Sudan & Etreiria to worry about the pseudo Jews from the former Soviet Union.
Yes the Sudanese & Etrierian infiltrators are a problem as South Tel Aviv now looks like Harlem or Bed Stuy perhaps worse but these [censored] are a bigger problem because they have Israeli citizenship.
Rabbi Dov Stein of the Nascent Sanhedrin concurs with me on this one.
Furthermore Ben Ari & company are totally silent on mihu Yehudi not one word!

Indeed בַּחַמַל, I have seen some of the letters the Rebbe wrote concerning the question "Who is a Jew?" and you are correct that the Rebbe insisted on the Halachic interpretation of who is Jewish, by matrilineal descent (if your mother was Jewish, you are Jewish) or through a Halachic conversion processes.
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

I agree as well. Ironically (and with all due respect to Lubavitch) Chabad conversions would not be valid in Israel either.

There are basically 5 types of Conversions situations I can think of: (if there are more, please let me know)
1) Israeli state conversion- accepted in Israel but not by the Israeli religious courts. Thus the "convert" cannot marry in Israel and is not considered Halachically Jewish. (bad)
2) State and Israeli Religious Court conversions- accepted by Israel and the court rabbis of the Israeli religious court system. The convert IS 100% Halachically accepted. (rabbinate reserves right to retroactively void conversions later if needed) (good)
3) Orthodox conversion abroad by any Rabbi-Not accepted by the state of Israel. Not accepted by the Israeli religious court. (bad)
4) Orthodox conversion by Israeli approved Beis Din- Accepted by state of Israel and Religious court system. 100% Halachically Jewish (rabbinate holds right to void conversion at any time) (good)
5) Conservative, Reform foreign conversion- Accepted in Israel, automatic citizenship. NOT accepted by the Israeli religious court system. Not Jewish (bad)

-------------------------------------------------------------
Israel has a very selective list of who can perform conversions. Some states have no one who can convert potential converts and others have 1 or 2, maybe even 3 acceptable Orthodox rabbis many of who head batei din.  For example, Chabad rabbi may sponsor the potential convert but cannot perform the conversion himself, it must be done through the Israeli approved Beis Din.  Here is the list: http://www.itim.org.il/eng/?CategoryID=208&ArticleID=209

Let's say that Bernie meets a catholic girl and they want to marry and she converts with some random neighborhood Orthodox rabbi in Townly, Wisconsin. They try to move to Israel and are rejected because she would not be considered a Jew.

The list of those who can perform conversions are very strict and usually limited to a few acceptable Batei Din. Whether in LA or New York or even the UK this is the process. But it has to be an acceptable RCA or Israel accepted Sephardic Bais Din who perform the conversion only. Not some rabbi who does the conversions, that would not be accepted for aliyah to Israel.

So, I don't believe that orthodox fake converts are the root of all evil now that Israel has become stricter by rejecting fake Orthodox converts in Israel before entering (there are exceptions to this which I explain below)

The real issue is the sad fact that fake reform and conservative converts are able to get automatic Israeli citizenship after a year of their "conversion". These fake converts have no Jewish spark, no Jewish souls. They are complete Gentiles pretending to be Jews. As such, they will carry their Gentile beliefs to Israel and within their children, we see in generations their anti-semitic, anti-Israel ideologies come out. Perhaps some type of jealousy from knowing deep inside that they are not real Jews.

Orthodox Conversions are under the control of the Israel Religious Court system. The Israeli rabbinate will be careful to void any orthodox convert who is found to violate Shabbat, does not keep kosher etc, had false pretenses or did a conversion with a non-approved rabbi. Once the religious court declares someone to be a non-Jew they are barred from immigrating to Israel. I repeat, they cannot be granted Israeli citizenship. There may be some who fall through the cracks but Israel has been voiding conversions left and right. Many Orthodox converts in Israel have been told that the state no longer considers them Jews and they have to leave the country unless if they stay through a Jewish spouse or family.
It may take some time but that is when they go to the religious court to marry, marry their kids off etc... the Israeli court reviews their history and are declared to be non-Jews. If these people really cared, they would have gone to a strict and approved Beis Din, taking the time to do things the right and honest way.

However reform, conservative and reconstructionist conversions do not fall under the control of the Israeli religious court system and therefore Israel will give these fake non-Jews and their non-Jewish kids (if the mom is the fake convert) 100% full citizenship. The catch is that eventually the kids will not be allowed to marry Jews in Israel and may become liberal fakestinian loving neo-nazis when they feel rejected by Jews.

So the main issue is that reform and conservative gentiles who think they are Jews are given automatic Israeli citizenship. And now we have these fake Jews and their children running around Israel without respect for Torah. And what is worse is seeing many of these fake reform and conversative converts are not only given Israeli citizenship, many bring their liberal ideas and pro-gay agendas. Lesbian and gay "converts", female rabbis etc.. In essence, the reform and conservative systems are creating serious harm.
Another question- would not the reform and conservative systems create a lot of mamzerim if two Jews are "married" in their system and later "divorce" through their system?

You are partially correct conversions done by the Badatz of Crown Heights are accepted by the rabbanut,I know a Mexican convert & he & his wife & kids all got citizenship & are recognized as Jews.
On the other hand there is this Puerto Rican I know who had a CONservative Mickey Mouse conversion & even though he married an Israeli girl in Cyprus he was rejected for citizenship.
No the reform & Conservative systems would not create mamzerut (see Igrot Moshe by HaRav Moshe Feinstein,ZT"L) as there were not proper chupa v'kidushin to begin with.
HaRav Ovadia Yosef concurs with this opinion.

Indeed it is old but people need to be reminded as to this very day nobody is doing a damn thing about  it not even the self proclaimed "Kahanists" Ben Ari,Marzel & Ben Gvir who have done nothing to help Jews other than demonstrating against the illegal schvatzers in Tel Aviv.
Jews are being deined aliyah & even entry into the country yet these [censored] infested uncircumcised Russian Jew-haters are welcomed with open arms.
These [censored] are more dangerous than the illegal schvartzers because they are here legally & have citizenship
DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!

I do not intend to let up on this subject until every single real Jew that wants to make aliyah is allowed to & fakers are weeded out.

I don't appreciate this blanket statement against -ALL- Chabad conversions!

Not only is it a typical manifestation of an arrogant Litvish attitude, but it is also outright false.

According to you, this Chabad Convert wouldn't be able to make Aliyah:
http://www.chabad.org/multimedia/media_cdo/aid/1416870/jewish/A-Pastors-Journey-to-Judaism.htm

I look around at all the Bnei Akivah, so called "Modern" Orthodox Jews, and I can immediately see the results of the isolationist Litvish who huddle together in Lakewood and curse Chabad.  These "Modern" Orthodox are coming from your families, not ours.

I don't understand why a Halachically correct Chabad conversion would not be accepted... Can someone explain if this is true...

Me, Litvish? Not now nor ever in my life have I ever been Litvish. Perish the thought, I actually like to be happy and joyous. I'll take the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov over any Misnagdim sect. In fact I don't consider myself involved in any group.

But I am in California. Other than Los Angeles there is pretty much no big Jewish communities. Thus I happily go to my local Chabad in my small city. And I have a soft spot for Chabad, and a deep love for the Rebbe. (Which I just bought one of his books "The Essence of Chassidut" on a trip to NY last week). In any event, I have heard from people statements from Chabad rabbis who say "Chabad does not do conversions". Of course this is not always true and may be a personal thing from each individual rabbi since Chabad is very open to all honest people. I have personally seen many Chabad rabbis who will help someone who honestly and sincerely has a spark and deep longing to go through giyur. The aversion some Chabad rabbis may have to become involved in the conversion process is the same as any other rabbi would have. Some are willing to help, some are not. It applies to any rabbi of any sect. All sincere Chabad converts would obviously be without a doubt hallahicaly Jewish, no argument there! And Chabad always says that no matter what a convert does they are always considered Jews (yes even Y-Love)- while other groups are quick to want to void the conversion all together. Chabad is the "good guy" in this case. When it comes to Yechi converts, I too have read cases of them being rejected by the chief rabbinate but I have not followed too much on it.

Nevertheless, I am keenly aware of the VERY limited list of who Israel will accept for aliyah. Keep in mind that it was recently (from 2006-2010) did Israel make news when they actively started to keenly reject many Orthodox rabbis and conversions for aliyah and came up with the list of what converting rabbis they would accept. This list caused quite a shock in the orthodox world because suddenly, rabbis who had performed conversions were told that the Israeli Interior Ministry and Chief Rabbinate would no longer accept their conversions. Or at least, the convert's Jewishness can come under suspicion at any given moment. It is a shameful situation when it comes to honest and good people who feel a passion to live a Torah life. To study and do a conversion only to be turned away. While everything comes from Hashem, hopefully the question (and sometimes injustice some legitimate converts experience by being rejected) may become resolved soon. On the other hand, while some people may be deeply hurt by the type of rejection, Israel has successfully rejected many African immigrants who try to open conversion files. Also, stopping many insincere and dishonest people who try to do conversions merely to live in Israel, marry a Jew (converting only for marriage) and for economical purposes.

I am not aware of the Badatz of Crown Heights continuing being on the list of the Chief Rabbiate/Interior Ministry since I had not seem them on there. I apologize for not taking them into consideration. It is possible that the current published list is not completly updated to include them. It may not have all approved batei din on the list. Maybe it only lists some but that is why there is also a number, to call and see which others ones are not on the list.

Here is the current list:
http://www.itim.org.il/eng/?CategoryID=208&ArticleID=209
Quote
The Israeli rabbinate recognizes only Orthodox conversions performed by a bet din (rabbinical court)  that appears on its list of recognized rabbinical courts.
Here is an example of the list:
Quote
California: Los Angeles Rabbinical Council of California: Rabbi Avrohom Union. Beth Din of Beverly Hills: Rabbi Gavriel Cohen/Rabbi Avraham Teichman. Beth Midrash Mishkan Israel: Rabbi Shmuel Ohana

New York: Manhattan Beth Din for Conversions: Rabbi Zvi Romm. Rabbinical Alliance of America: Rabbi Hershel Kurzrock.  Beth Din of Agudath Harabbonim: Rabbi Aryeh Ralbag, Sepharadic Beth Din of Queens:Rabbi Eliyahu Ben-Haim/ Rabbi Menachem Zilber. Monsey Rabbi S.J. Landesman

Of course, to confirm that a beis din is on the list of the Israeli chief rabbinate, one can call them in Israel directly to verify the list.

Other than that, the following are just examples of articles I based my comments on:

A 2006 article of when the barring started: http://www.itim.org.il/_Uploads/dbsAttachedFiles/Jewishweek5.5.06-ChiefRabbinateBarringConversions.pdf

Quote
Currently, the Israeli Rabbinate only accepts conversions by a limited number of Diaspora rabbis, and at least 10 Orthodox converts who went through other rabbis were denied Israeli citizenship based on the Rabbinate's recommendation in the past few months.

Quote
For Reform or Conservative converts, the ministry relies on the Israeli branches of these streams. In the absence of a central body representing Orthodoxy, the ministry started turning to the Rabbinate regarding the validity of Orthodox conversions. The Rabbinate, however, only recognizes a limited number of foreign conversion courts.

Quote
Sephardi Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar spoke of people who paid high sums for conversion certificates from Orthodox rabbis in the U.S. To avoid such frauds, he said, he would only accept conversions conducted by the rabbis on his list. The full list has never been publicized but includes 12 conversion courts established by the Rabbinical Council of America, or RCA.

Quote
At the same time, while non-Orthodox conversions conducted in courts recognized by the Israeli leadership of the Reform and Masorti (Conservative) movements are not recognized by the Chief Rabbinate as valid Jewish conversions, the State of Israel sees these converts as Jewish and grants them citizenship
Quote
when Canada native Thomas Dolhan applied for aliya a short while ago, he was informed that his Orthodox conversion – conducted by a court composed of two rabbis from the International Rabbinic Fellowship (IRF) and one from the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA) – was not valid.
