This footage was taken on the Temple Mount by Tzachi Devira, who is heard speaking to a police officer. We have added the English translation. (Click on the "caption" icon on the lower right and side of the video window, to see the translation.)
Tzachi Devira is the archaeologist who is responsible for the Temple Mount Sifting project. Tzachi and his team have sifted through hundreds of tons of debris that has been illegally excavated and removed from the Temple Mount by the Moslem Wakf. They have uncovered priceless remnants from both the first and second Holy Temple. The Wakf recently began again to dig illegally on the Temple Mount. Tzachi was able to attain an order from the High Court of Justice for the destruction to be halted. We see in the video that the Wakf is ignoring the court order in the presence of the police. Tzachi arrives with the court order in his hand and give the police little choice but to enforce the order. It is tragic that the police, instead of faithfully enforcing the law, are, in effect, aiding and abetting a crime of historic proportion: The intentional destruction of archaeological evidence of the first and second Temples.
