You won't see this in the news here in the US. The "Gay Manifesto" was published by Michael Swift in the Gay Community News on Feb. 15-21, 1987. It was also interjected into the Congressional Record showing that Congress is well aware of this content.

Below is the complete text of the Gay Manifesto.
I think this is much simpler than the seeming deviousness and misanthropy of this idiotic, hateful, rage filled 'manifesto.'. Remember what Chaim said when people that often call themselves gay, expecially in the past, were anything but happy. Look at this letter: fantastic, insane, illogical and angry: hardly 'gay.'
I dont think most gays think like this any more. Society has changed a lot. You used to be able to be fired from your job for being gay or picked on, or even people would try and physically abuse you for no reason. I think it's wrong to say that these things didn't exist. I think it is not a contradiction to say that you dont believe in the equlaity of homosexuality and heterosexuality AND believe at the same time that people should be judged at work on their professional behavior and performance. Likewise, that to attack people on the street is an absolute moral wrong. Kids used to be tortured at school. I would not support turning back the hands of time for that.
In terms of this lesbian, I would wonder why she would ever be at these meetings. She was presumably an adult when she attended and worked for these causes. It's hard for me to see her as a victim, though I understand her reprimanding these people for their hatefulness, if that's what they were
