Baby put in freezer for crying
« on: June 02, 2013, 07:46:22 AM »
I think this kind of thing happens more often because of pro-abortion culture and so-called "Ethicists" like Peter Singer being given free reign to spew their pro-infanticide opinions.

Also in general I don't think men should be left alone with babies. They're not naturally suited for the job and many stories like this involve a man being left alone with a baby. So-called mothers do crazy things too (especially if it involves post-partum depression) but in general I think it's more of a risk to leave a baby or small child with a man.

I definitely agree with you on that bullcat. I think what really upsets me is how callous the guy had to be to nearly murder his child because he wanted to take a nap, then to be able to actually go in the bedroom and sleep soundly for an hour knowing that his baby was in the freezer! Then to try to stop the mother from calling for help!

I know that sometimes mother's are in a tough spot.  But why leave your baby with a man like this?
If only we could test people before they have children and vote.   The world might just be a better place.

Sadly in today's society a greater outcry will develop over cases of animal abuse than might  be heard over cases of child abuse and neglect... If people were to make a study about what sort of sentences people who kill infants get they would be surprised to see just how lax the system is.

The same kind of people who would be cruel to animals are the kind of people that are cruel to humans. Greater penalties for animal abuse might help to stop the abuse escalating to humans being hurt. At the same time I don't think our society really views infants as if they were fully human, and treats those who murder babies more kindly than someone who would murder an adult. When are we going to realize as a society that a baby is just as human as an adult and their lives have value?

Now to the punishment phase he should be locked into a freezing area with a hungry 1600 pound polar bear

Trailer eh?  Father should get the death penalty

No they shouldn't.

The person who did this, should be put to death.

Um, no.
That's lunacy, aside from being unfair to the vast majority of men.

I think the initial statement that men shouldn't be left at home with children is off the charts.  The reality is that crying children are annoying to people of both sexes.  People handle it to varying degrees: abysmal as in this case or responsibly.  This person should be in a mental hospital or a prison.

the guy's a bum.
a 6 week old doesn't cry very loud.
if you put a 6 week old in another room, you'd be hard pressed to be able to hear her.

I thought someone said it was a trailer.

BTW, I had no idea you was a baby's daddy.  I hear that all over the place these days. I was going to Chinatown today (great inexpensive vegetables) and I think I heard that 5 times out of this young hussy's mouth  :::D :::D :::D :::D

Most men wouldn't do anything like this but I still believe it's inherently more risky for a man to be left alone with a baby.

There are unstable people in both genders.  Are there still only two genders?  ::) I think most of the time, not all of the time, there are clues to who has the propensity to put a crying child in the freezer.  A defenseless infant should never be put in their care. A crying infant can be frustrating. Especially, when a person is sleep deprived.
I have funny stories of people watching my crying child and how they handled it.  Thank goodness I was lucky enough to have normal people in my family.

6 years ago when my month old son was crying and I was annoyed I would feed him or help him get rid of his gas.

I think she's right. In the contemporary culture, men are not taught to have any respect for babies because they are the unwanted, burdensome byproduct of screwing around.

I really don't know what makes adults actually dislike or hate children? I can understand not liking crying, whining etc...but some people are red in the face in HATE with kids. This is scary. People who hate children that much have much deeper personallity issues than their disdain for children. I can understand -  not wanting to deal with kids or have kids of their own, but to HATE... its just not human. A person would have to have something not wired right in the brain to have "red in the face HATE with kids". Not wanting or wanting to have children is a choice and that doesn't make person a less of a person, but this definitely does. He should be taken to some  mental asylum.

I agree completely with you. Read some of the web pages of the "childfree" movement and the stuff they write would make Hitler proud.

What?  This is insane.   If it was true it would be equally true about women.  But it's not true.

I'm fairly young and would say I was raised in the contemporary culture.  Not once was I ever taught anything even remotely resembling your description.

It seems like childfree movement is not just about not having children, but hating children too is what they promote.

Child-free in Tennessee

Posted by Lindsay Ferrier on Fri, Mar 9, 2007 at  9:58 AM

The child-free movement is getting some media attention lately, possibly because it's uber-hip to be a parent right now.

Child-free social groups have been around for years to help adults without kids to connect. I can sympathize with the need to be around others whose lives don't revolve around Little League and PTA meetings (I'd generally like to be around people like that myself), but geez Louise, local child-free groups. Bitter much?

At the top of the Nashville No Kidding! website, you'll find this quote from the TV show Northern Exposure:

"They're slobbery and they're whiney and they look at you just like they could see right into your soul and they're unpredictable and they smell and they're noisy and the world revolves around them and why!? I don't get it. They're not interesting. They can't tell jokes, they don't have opinions, and they're boring, you know? They're just boring and annoying and I don't want to have one."   And over at the local Childfree Meetup site, Nashvillians sound off about being bratless.

"I find that people without kids are the only people worth my time," writes a guy calling himself Omnibus.

"I can't stand kids, they give me hives," a woman who goes by Wingnut admits.

In the San Francisco Chronicle's article on the child-free, grievances also are aired about work-family benefits, lactation rooms for working mothers, friends who disappear after having children and constant criticism/disbelief from acquaintances and strangers over the decision to remain childless.

Apparently, living a child-free life isn't all about partying and sleeping in on weekends. But I'm here to tell you that parents don't have it any easier. For instance:

-I can't take my well-behaved, non-screaming toddler into a nicer restaurant to eat without getting dirty looks from the host and waitstaff, who just assume that she's going to throw a messy tantrum and I'm going to do nothing about it.

-On that note, Jackson's makes the world's best deep fried cookie dough eggrolls, but doesn't have highchairs or booster seats.

-While the rest of my family bought up cool vintage t-shirts, I had to wait outside a store on Melrose Avenue last summer with my toddler because the sign in the window said, "No solicitors. No panhandlers. No strollers."

-Having kids means either staying home with them and being treated like a loser by your working counterparts, or working and feeling guilty about putting the kids in daycare.

I understand the no strollers rule. Strollers are used to steal items by putting the items under the baby in the stroller.

It is true of women too, hence the popularity of abortion and what Casey Anthony did, but men are particularly not raised or groomed to be fathers at all anymore.
