You know as well as I do that the 7NL prohibit fornication for all persons, not just Jews.

Curtis is a con man.  Whether or not he had sex with a phoney Jewess is irrelevant.  There are ample things to hate Curtis on irrespective of his sex habits.  He is a disingenuous liar, con man, thief, harasser, loudmouth, clown and tuchis kisser.  He is like Jim Jones; he tells you what you want to hear even though he doesn't believe a word of it.  The Feds tried to convict John Gotti, Jr. on Curtis' testimony three  times and failed three times because Curtis has lied so much about so many things, the jury couldn't trust a word out of his mouth even though Gotti, Jr. did indeed order the hit against Curtis and the whole world knows it.  I am shocked that JTFers cannot see through this degenerate liar.  You "yimach shmo" everybody else.  But when someone says, "I love Israel", you kvell with nachus like he's the Meshiach even though the person is a 100% b.s. artist.  He laughs at you as he takes your gelt, just like Martin Luther King did.  He's playing you like a ukelele.  Be a little more inquisitive.

As I said, I didn't know that Melinda didn't have a Jewish mother and didn't convert.  So, yes: Curtis and Melinda should convert to Judaism.  Having thought that she was Jewish, it does put a different light on this aspect of the discussion.

Huh? If they both are not Jewish, no need to convert. They or anyone else can convert if they like to but they don't have to.

Curtis Sliwa should NOT convert to Judaism because he would make a BAD JEW.  Just like he is a bad husband, a bad father, a bad talk show host, bad CEO of the Guardian Angels and a bad Catholic, he would make a bad Jew.

Your attitude is objectionable... JTF does not enforce that everyone has to think and say the exact same thing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on people and things. This is not an echo chamber where everyone imitates and parrots what Chaim says.

I respect Chaim and his opinion but I also listen to others too. I am not a 'fanboy' of anything. I am a thinking adult who learns and grows, but am not ordered to believe one thing or another.

I still have yet to see something which confirms your statement. His divorce doesn't prove a lot... Divorces are dirty (I know from experience) and often the wife will exaggerate in order to get more money in the divorce. My father (OBM) was married three times and he was a righteous and conservative Jew.

I would like to hear what Chaim says about this, and I will make my own decision...
You don't like women very much do you?
I know women who were on the wrong end of men lying in divorce situations.
You made a blanket statement and that is wrong.

Curtis Sliwa has a history of not always being truthful and he is a publicity hound.  Those are facts.

There is no prohibition for them to have pre-marital sex. There are just prohibited partners. If they live together as if they're married, it makes them Halachically married. When they stop living together, it makes them Halachically divorced.

They have no positive mitzvah to be fruitful and multiply. I also think they are permitted to use all kinds of birth control, even condoms. But abortion is prohibited and is a capital offense. Jews on the other hand can't use condoms. But the woman may use birth control pills.

I agree with what you say but I do believe when making such statements you should attempt to refer to sources which support your statements.

Let me make this clear for the last time.  Curtis Sliwa is a disgusting, lying, disingenuous unethical con artist.  I couldn't care whom he is shtupping.  I despise him on other grounds which I have made amply clear.  I do not care anything about Melinda Katz or his other "wives".  I think at heart he is a schtick dreck- leave his concubines out of it and I could still write a book.

Marriage and Sex

Every man should marry a woman, and every woman should marry a man since it is written “that it is not good for a man to live alone by himself.” Marriage brings about a partnership between two people and increases the population of the world. In marriage a Noahide will participate and contribute in the building of the world.

Marriage is initiated by the couple’s decision to live together as husband and wife followed by their sexual union. It is worthwhile and enhancing that the two hold a formal marriage ceremony and a marriage feast.

A married couple can divorce even if both don’t agree to the divorce. If the husband sends his wife away from their home declaring that they are no longer married or if the wife leaves their home with a similar declaration they are no longer married. However, Noahides should abide by the laws of the state in which they live in marriage matters. They should therefore also follow any procedures that are required by the laws where they live so that they should be considered divorced also according to these laws. After the divorce, both partners are free to remarry. The marriage also ends if one of the two dies.

According to the Torah, a married woman and another man are not allowed to have sexual or any intimate relations with each other. A man, on the other hand, is allowed to marry more than one wife or concubine. Since the l0th century the Ashkenazic Jews generally have only one wife. Today there are also civil laws in many countries against bigamy, which are to be followed as law for the Noahide. A person is not allowed to have sexual relations with his mother, sisters, maternal aunts from his father or mother’s side, his father’s wife even after the death of his father, daughter, granddaughter, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law and her mother, his wife’s daughters and granddaughters. A person is not allowed to have homosexual relations (man with another man or a woman with another woman). Also a person is not allowed to have sexual relations with animals. This is bestiality.

Rape by a Noahide is a capital offence. There are opinions that, regarding people who are forbidden by the Torah to have sex with one another, the Torah prohibits any physical contact between them that is liable to be stimulating. This would include kissing, hugging and social dancing. It is nevertheless permitted for people to kiss their offspring.

It is worthwhile for men and women to minimize their mingling with one another. For this reason, youth groups and social activities should be organized separately for boys and for girls. In particular, when groups come together for prayer, etc. the men and the women should sit separately.

The purpose of sexual relations is to increase the human race and to strengthen the ties between the married couple. According to the Torah, a husband is called to gratify and satisfy sexually his wife. The same holds true for the wife toward her husband. All this is to strengthen the ties between the married couple. God created men and women with sexual appetite and chemistry. Sex is a blessing from God, and it is not sin in the bounds of permitted sex under the seven laws of Noah.

One should not read pornographic literature or watch pornographic movies. As women who are dressed inappropriately can stimulate men easily, women should dress modestly.

Most authorities are of the opinion that Bnei Noah are not obligated any more to have children. There is a minority view that they are. According to this minority view and the view of Nachmanides, masturbation is prohibited. Also, according to them only the female is allowed to use contraceptives. The ones that would be permitted are foam or pills or similar methods.

It is an ancient custom of Israel to be careful and not to have sexual relations when the woman is having her menstrual period. An Israelite married woman is not allowed to have sexual relations with her husband for seven days, starting from the first day of her menstruation period. After the seven days she must go to a ritual bath, a mikvah, before she resumes having sexual relations with her husband. A Noahide is not called to do so, but it is worthwhile for the couple to abstain from having sexual relations during the woman’s menstrual period.

Isn't female homosexuality only an Issur d'Rabbanan because it is "the way of Egypt"? How can an Issur D'Rabbanan apply to Noahides? Certainly it is distasteful to take part in such digusting behavior, but it technically is not a Noahide prohibition. For Jews, it is zenut. It's not a Noahide prohibition because it is not d'Oraita. How could it be an actual prohibition if biologically, there is not an actual way for female fags to "have sex". As Chaim says, the pieces don't fit.

It appears that the mitzvah of 'be fruitful and multiply' is technically not one of the seven Noachide commands. And yet there is a source which indicates that this imperative is intended for all human life...

http://ohr.edu/ask_db/ask_main.php/2/Q1/

In Parshat Vayishlach, you wrote that "There are only three mitzvot in Sefer Bereishit. The first mitzvah, to be fruitful and multiply, is essential to the survival of all of Mankind..." And yet, on the surface, "p'ru ur'vu" is not one of the commandments for the Bnei Noach. Why not?

Dear AT&T,

There are 7 commandments from Hashem for the Bnei Noach to govern their behavior. They are:

1 Prohibition against Prohibition against adultery.
2 idolatry. Prohibition against eating a limb
3 Prohibition against of a live animal.
4 blasphemy. The commandment to establish courts
5 Prohibition against of law.
6 murder.
7 Prohibition against  theft.

The Sefer HaChinuch lists the three mitzvot taught in the Book of Bereishit, and writes that they apply only to the Jewish People.

* "Be fruitful and multiply" in Parshat Bereishit.

* "Brit mila" in Parshat Lech Lecha.

* "Don't eat the gid hanashe" in Vayishlach.

Brit mila is a covenant "between Me and you [Avraham] and your seed after you" (Bereishit 17:10). Thus, the Bnei Noach are excluded from this mitzvah.

In Vayishlach, the Torah states "The children of Israel shall not eat the gid hanashe" (Bereishit 31:33). Once again the Bnei Noach are exempted.

The mitzvah to be fruitful and multiply was given to the first Man (Bereishit 1:28) and repeated to Noach (Bereishit 9:1). It would appear equally incumbent upon all Mankind. Yet, this is *not* one of the 7 Noachide Laws.

The Talmud explains that:

"All mitzvot that were given to the Bnei Noach and *repeated* at Sinai, apply to both Jews and non-Jews. Those mitzvot that were given to the Bnei Noach but *not* repeated at Sinai were given only to the Jews."

"P'ru ur'vu" was not repeated at Sinai. So, even though Adam and Noach had been personally commanded to reproduce, the mitzvah did not become one of the 7 Noachide Laws.

It should be noted, however, that there is a special obligation to ensure that the world is fully populated, and that this obligation is equally applicable to Jew and Gentile. It is derived from a verse in the writings of the Prophets which calls upon Mankind inhabit as much of the Creation as possible:

"He [Hashem] did not create the world to be desolate; [rather] to be settled he formed it."

According to Rabbi Moshe Weiner, it is forbidden and a abomination!

Not according to the Written Law.... Only Male-On-Male sexual relations are spelled out as being an 'abomination'.

As Binyamin said, Lesbian relations are only forbidden via the Oral Law which interprets the command 'not imitate the ways of the mitzrim' as a blanket prohibition against female-on-female sexual relations.

Lesbian relationship

Is it against the torah to have lesbian sex? It is understood that by males it is called an abomination due to waste of seed, but by women, this isn't the case. Is it allowed?

Dear questioner,
Thank you for your question.

Wasting seed is prohibited.  However, the Torah's label of "abomination" is applied to the male homosexual act without specific reference to wasting seed (Vayikra 18:22).

Sexual relations between women are prohibited, at least on a rabbinic level.  The prohibition is explicit in the Shulchan Aruch (Even HaEzer 20:2).  Such relations are also mentioned in a negative context in the Talmud (Yevamot 76a).

Additionally, a steady lesbian relationship may be prohibited by the Torah under the prohibition of maaseh eretz Mitzrayim (Vayikra 18:3).

From Rambams Mishne Torah, Sefer Kedusha :

http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/960669/jewish/Chapter-Twenty-One.htm

Halacha 8
Lesbian relations are forbidden. This is "the conduct of Egypt" which we were warned against, as [Leviticus 18:3] states: "Do not follow the conduct of Egypt." Our Sages said:22 What would they do? A man would marry a man, a woman would marry a woman, and a woman would marry two men.

Although this conduct is forbidden,23 lashes are not given for it, for it is not a specific prohibition24 and there is no intercourse at all. Therefore such women are not forbidden to marry into the priesthood as zonot, nor does a woman become prohibited to her husband because of this,25 for this is not considered harlotry. It is, however, appropriate to give them stripes for rebellious conduct26 because they performed a transgression. A man should take precautions with his wife with regard to this matter and should prevent women who are known to engage in such practices from visiting her and her from visiting them.
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

Well, Jews go by the sages of Judaism... And Rambam is considered one of the primary Halachic authorities.

It is clear that the Torah only says that a male-on-male relationship is an abomination, and I will provide the quotations.

Vayikra 18:22
You shall not lie down with a male, as with a woman: this is an abomination.

Vayikra 19:13
And a man who lies with a male as one would with a woman both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon themselves.

Please show me a clear commandment of the Torah which forbids this lesbian relationship, aside from the interpretation of not imitating the way of the Mitzrim?

I have not found any mention of female homosexual relations in the Oral law (doing only a cursory search)... Please provide the tractate and folio where this is supposed to be...
