German Firms Smuggling Nuclear Technology To Iran

In August 1990, a German human rights organization known as the Society for the Protection of Threatened Peoples (SPTP) issued a scathing report accusing 85 German companies of supplying weapons of mass destruction technology to Iran, Iraq, Syria and Libya through third countries. The report also showed that these transactions were done with the knowledge of the German government. Following the Gulf War in 1991, the same SPTP provided documentation that the scud missile technology used by Iraq against Israel had been supplied by German companies.

Now, 16 years later, Germany has suddenly published an assessment that scores of German companies have indeed been helping Iran's nuclear program.

Fifty German companies are now being investigated by the German government on suspicion of selling dual-use systems and material required for Iran's nuclear project. Berlin has determined that the shipments were being used to complete Iran's nuclear energy plant at Bushehr.

"The equipment was ordered by Russia and diverted to Iran," a German official said.

On Thursday, German state prosecutor Christoph Lange identified one of the companies. Lange said the Berlin-based company Vero was suspected of shipping nuclear material to Moscow via Poland. From there, he said, the material was exported to Iran.

Vero was identified as a supplier to Bushehr since 2000. The company purchased nuclear technology from dozens of companies in Germany for Russian contractors of Bushehr.

These companies have argued that they had merely filled orders from Russian clients. However, Lange said at least a dozen of the German firms knew that Iran was the final destination.

Let's not get too sanctimonious...

Our own American Corporations such as Halliburton, Kellogg, Brown, & Root, and more than a few others, have been and continue to be actively aiding the WMD efforts of North Korea, Iran, and Syria, as well as all the rest of the world's most primitively barbaric regimes.

All just to make a tremendous amount of money.

The Federal Laws on the books forbidding such blatantly monstrous activites, are written with loopholes which these mega-corporations use to "break the letter of the law", while yet "upholding the wording of the law".

They have incorporated numerous off-shore corporate entities which are subdivisions of the "mother corporation", each with different names, each registered in "tax shelter nations" such as Cayman Islands, etc. .

In so doing, they are not only allowed to skirt the tax regulations which domestic-based companies and corporations must follow, but they also are allowed to "conduct business with, as well as aid and abet the enemies of the United States of America".

The Western Corporate elite all play their duplicitous game of simultaneously enriching themselves by aiding genocidal dictators who wish to build nuclear reactors and underground military bunders, all the while knowing that as soon as they have made their billions and trillions of dollars, their home countries will war against their dictator employers and wipe out the infrastructure which they have built for them.

Then guess what happens?...

Then the U.S. & other Western governments call in the very exact same corporations which aided the dictators in acquiring their WMD, to go into the countries which their militaries have just devastated, and rebuild their infrastructure all over again...this time at taxpayers' expense.

Then, the U.S. & Western governments sign treaties with their "newly installed puppet governments" in those countries, which guaranty purchase of advanced expensive high-tech weaponry from the Western countries' military-industrial corporations.

Then, the new dictator-schmucks are encouraged to feud and fight with each other, creating a new arms-race through regional tension, and the cycle described above begins anew!.....$$$$$$$

This is called "maintaining peace and stability in the region".
