I, too, was thrilled about this.  And you describe Weiner perfectly to a "T".  And I hope you're right when you predict that he'll drop out.  However, there's one thing that I believe you're missing, and that is this:  THE MAN HAS NO SHAME!!  Therefore, I feel that he will stay in the race.... and, of course, lose.

In a normal world Weiner would have been finished when he originally resigned from politics however the world has become far from normal... I believe that this guy will continue on and still have a very good chance at gaining office... Sadly most people today are not as put off by what Weiner is doing... The only issue is the fact that he is doing it as a married man however even that fact  is not as toxic politically as it may have been 20 years ago... The proof of the pudding is the fact that even Eliot Spitzer has made a remarkable comeback and in my opinion what he did was far worse.

He kept praying on young women even after his resignation. He promised some dumb wench a job at politico to persuade her to send him naughty pictures of herself. This is probably illegal and for a person who seeks public office- completely unacceptable. Surely his race for mayor is all but over now.

What's really important is they are ugly on the inside, not really ugly on the outside.  If Huma was a righteous woman she wouldn't be ugly.  IMHO.

But it's good news that Weiner is having trouble.  If Weiner is elected Mayor disaster will strike NYC and America; as the great Chaim Ben Pesach said, it would be a terrible curse.

Anyway, I wonder if Huma's family or other muslim terrorists will decapitate Weiner, if they believe he's toast and no longer of use to them.

Chaim is onto something with this. At first I disagreed, like others, because I figured Weiners 'ego' was so big that he had no shame. But once again voices are coming out saying he should bow out gracefully rather than disgrace New York with his disgusting antics.

The pressure is increasing on former congressman Anthony Weiner to drop out of the New York City mayor's race after his acknowledgment of another round of lewd online exchanges with women.

Weiner held a news conference Tuesday admitting that he continued to engage in inappropriate online chats even after he was forced to resign from Congress in 2011 because he had sent graphic messages — including lewd photos of himself — to women via Twitter.

But, with his wife by his side, Weiner said the bad behavior was behind him and he intends to stay in the mayor's race. Ten days ago, polls showed him narrowly leading the race for the Democratic nomination over City Council Speaker Christine Quinn.

After his press conference, major New York newspapers called for Weiner to quit the race.
