Hi from the South

Hi,
I was brought up in the South (US) as a Catholic, but I try to live a relatively Jewish life now. I don't wear deodorant except when I go shopping because I think all deodorants are unsafe and ultimately shorten one's lifespan.  I wouldn't even wear it to go shopping except that I don't want to be banned from stores. I'd rather live in New York or London or Jerusalem for a number of reasons. I've thought of actually converting to Judaism before, and I suppose I still might. I'm very sympathetic to the Jewish people, and think I might be descended from Jewish people although, of course, that's pure speculation on my part. I feel Jewish, somehow, although I guess that could just be my imagination. I feel more connected psychically, spiritually, intellectually to the Jewish and British people than to my fellow Americans.  I'm not espousing British Isrealism, it's just that I feel I'd fit in more in the UK or Israel.  That's probably my upbringing, in part.
Anyway, thanks for this forum.  I look forward to reading about various things here.
Shalom.

Shalom, Lefty.

I'm not a Jew, either. I was also born into a catholic home, but I now follow the 7 laws of Noah as gentiles are instructed in Torah.......... so that makes me a Ben Noach or Noachide Chassid. Have you herd of the Sheva Mitzvot (7 Laws)?
