A Jewish guy told me he never eats cheeseburgers in McDonald's - he only eats plain hamburgers.  He doesn't want to violate kosher laws.

My problem is this: Fish does not agree with me at all.  For me, it's like eating poison.  The bad news for me is that fish is incredibly healthy for a person.  Since I can't eat it (the smell alone nauseates me), are there any substitute foods that can deliver the same health benefits to me?
I have the same exact problem.  And it bugs me when people don't understand.  They just don't get it!  They think that if I eat the right fish that I'll develop a taste.  I also have the same problem with cheese.  I can't even walk by the cheese section in a store without gagging.  I don't mean to be gross and vile, but I must tell the truth:  certain cheeses smell like vomit to me.  I have no idea whatsoever how people go near it let alone put it to their mouth.  I truly don't understand it.

Luckily, I love vegetables of any kind and fruits of any kind.  I'm a very limited eater in general, but it never gets in the way and it doesn't bother me at all.  I could have a bowl of chicken soup with a healthy salad on the side every night and be happy.

Speaking of health and fitness, I think I've gone down a dress size.  I actually had to give away several pieces of clothing to my older sister.

Both are mostly bullcrap. First guy, well he must be doing something right but his advice of getting lots of sunshine is appalling. Second guy talks allot of pseudo science. Both probably try to sell suckers easy programs and lots of supplements including dangerous ones like hormones.

You don't want to eat allot of proteins and grow huge muscles- that's bad for the kidneys without a doubt. You need to minimize sun exposure. You need to eat low calorie diet and even fast on occasion. You need to eat mostly vegetarian food, avoid junk food, fried greasy food, but eat lots of vegetables and fruit rich with anti oxidants.

As far as exercise I don't know what is the right balance. If you have muscle tones then your skin certainly looks better, but it doesn't mean you'll live longer. Endurance training certainly help your cardiovascular system. The mainstream theory today is that athletic activity builds up the body's ability to fight oxidation because it raises oxidation level during the activity.

But the key is calorie restricted diet, it's been proven on monkeys and many other organisms and by all likelihood it works with humans as well.

which video do you agree with more?

The first guy, apparently is strictly vegan. He says he only eats raw vegetables and fruits (and nuts I suppose). He obviously has little body fat and he keeps in good shape. Despite what he says about sun I don't think he gets much sun exposure himself. I can't see any tanned parts on his skin. His fitness regime must be more then short interval training. I think he lifts weight regularly at the gym. And while he looks great, he doesn't look like a teenager.

I don't know what's the deal with growth hormone, why it is supposed to be so good for anti aging according to non medical anti aging experts/potions peddlers. As for Testosterone, I don't think there is any reason to take supplement of that, maybe for elderly people with really low levels. Hormones can be dangerous especially sex hormones. Testosterone is related to prostate cancer I believe, and to head hair loss, and to body hair growth. Estrogen is related to breast and ovarian cancer. I wouldn't want to risk my health with overdosing on hormones based on some charlatan's advice.

i humbly disagree mate.

I think both are bang on with exercise. Quick burtsts are far better than these stupid 10k runs and more. For starters the constant jarring of the face muscles of long distant running, especially putdoors in the sun and wind with not good. Also long distant runners especially marathan runners do not live longer. In fact not only does it Ruin the ligaments and cartlidge from the jarring effect of long distance running, but also its showing no evidence to help with the heart. So many "fit as a fiddle" men die of Heart attacks due to Marathns.

I think a short phase sport such as tennis twice a week, and some press ups and gentle dumbell work. With pleanty of walking is ideal imo.

In the sun. I have come to the conclusion that you should where sunscreen, but to stay out f the sun is a no no. Dont sun bath etc, by all means as that saturates the vitimin d, but 15-30 minutes a day with sun screen should give you the much needed vitimin d levels.

Also i think the guy takes it to far(the teenager dude) but i agree that eating the correct fruits and vegatables produce the antioxidant to neutralise the UVA rays. So i bet with all the tomatos etc the guy eats he tans but never burns. I still think he should wear sunscreen but i admire his advice.

how many people would die of skin cancer if they eat fresh tomatos, spinich sweet potatoes etc every day.

So although i dont agree with all the videos state i think they have alot of backbone behind what they say.

There are some vegetables that actually greatly increase sensitivity to sun radiation. Among these: parsley, celery, and figs.

I don't claim to be expert on what exercise regime is best. I think you need common sense and feel what works for you, and don't take things to extreme. I can run 10km easy or I can try to really "bring it" and finish it in near exhaustion.  Obviously you should watch out from sun exposure in any outdoor activity- including tennis too.

thoughts guys?

I'm inclined to agree.  I mean, look at French people.  They eat plenty of cheese and butter.  But they're not fat like Americans.

I am involved with an intense combat fitness program..  These are the type of exercises I do..

Cossack Chain Squats..  I managed to pick up some very think 3/4" thick link chain which weighs total of 70lbs for 12 feet.   These are probably the most intense leg exercise in existence and work the hams as much as the quads.

Please keep the Kahanist movement strong and free of internal strife and drama.

It's a game of chance but you can influence the odds by lowering exposure to mutagens and increase your body's ability to resist them. Physical exercise increases the resistance to mutation. Eating various anti-oxidant rich foods (basically lots of fruits and vegetables) lowers the chance of mutation. Low calorie diet is another method if done correctly.

Chronic inflammation is a known risk factor for many cancer and other nasty diseases, so if possible always try to avoid and treat inflammations.
