Quote
WASHINGTON - A growing bipartisan chorus of US lawmakers said on Sunday that the United States should suspend its $1.5 billion in military and economic aid to Egypt following a violent crackdown on protesters that has left nearly 800 dead.
Don't get me wrong. I think it's wonderful that our enemies are killing each other and I don't want it to stop.
But I also don't want USA tax dollars wasted by arming Israel's most powerful enemy, that is to say Egypt. I hope this also adds another blow to the phony peace process.

That is not a good idea.  In the short term, Egypts military needs to be propped up so they can control the hundred million muslim hooligans in the country. In the medium term, the aid needs to be revisited

They can control them fine without fighter jets, and without billions of dollars.

Military needs to be supported in some manner till it is fighting against the muslamic terrorism. Afterwards the situation can be reviewed.

This is terrible! We should be funding them NOW more than ever! We finally have an anti-Muslim government in control in Egypt and OF COURSE NOW Barack Hussein Obama wants to stop aid. But when Egypt elected a Muslim terrorist for president Barack Hussein Obama was more than willing to cough up aid. This is a disaster. Good luck to the Egyptian government

Why is the current government in Egypt "Anti-Muslim"? Muslims always fight each other. But what they are doing now is what they would do to the infidels if they could. Both sides hate Israel.

The same is happening in Syria.

Its not the same as syria, although it is similar. The egyptian military is secularist. What we are seeing in Egypt is not Sunni vs Shia, its secularist vs Muslim. And thats a good thing. By the way, the egyptian army will definently uphold the peace agreement and its already well-known that the top egyptians generals dont feel the ill-will of the populace towards Israel. There was a book written by an Egyptian general a while ago called "The Road to Israel" or something along those lines where he documents his travels to Israel and his friendly encounters with the people there. It sparked outraged in Egypt, naturally. But an authoritarian secularist government in Egypt to keep the muslims under check is a good thing for the US and for Israel. Keep sending the aid

So Sadat the Nazi was a good Arab to you? The whole Camp David agreement was Taqiyya. Israel surrendered over half of its land.

No he wasnt good but he was better than any Muslim Brotherhood member, thats for sure. Just ask yourself whether you would rather have someone like Sadat, or another Hamas on your border. If its the latter I hope ur ready for hundreds more daily rockets going over the border

We already have that. Hamas is the Fakestinian Muslim Brotherhood. Because Sharon surrendered Gaza, Hamas took over the former Jewish communities and bomb Israel from it. If Sinai hadn't been surrendered, we wouldn't have Al-Qaida bases there or Sudanese illegal aliens infiltrating the border into Israel from Sinai. The Suez Canal would have been the buffer zone.

בס''ד

Muslims who are willing to cooperate with the West (like the Egyptian military) are more dangerous than the Muslim Brotherhood:

*Muslims like Sadat and Mubarak convinced Israel to surrender the entire Sinai (which is three times the size of the rest of Israel). If the Muslim Brotherhood had been in power in Egypt in the 1970s and 1980s, Israel would still control the vast Sinai today with its huge oil reserves and other natural resources.

*Muslims like Fatah and the PLO (who are aligned with the Egyptian military) convinced Israel to begin the Oslo suicide process. If the Muslim Brotherhood had been in control of Egypt in the 1990s, their allies in Hamas would have been the representatives of the Arabs in Yesha. Hamas would not have agreed to the Oslo suicide process.

*With Muslims like the Egyptian military, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the PLO, there is a much greater chance that an independent "Palestine" state will be created and that Israel will retreat to the pre-1967 suicide borders that are only 6 to 9 miles wide.

*This is the same Egyptian military that attacked Israel promising to "push the Jews into the sea" in 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1973. If Israel were in the pre-1967 borders, Egypt and the entire Arab world would attack again. Secular Egyptian leaders like King Farouk, Nasser and Sadat went to war to destroy Israel. They would do it again. An attack on Israel would make them popular with their people again.

All U.S. aid to Egypt should be stopped immediately.
