Liberals think Sarah Palin is dumb because she didn't attend the right schools and doesn't accept liberal orthodoxy on numerous issues, especially abortion.  Liberals are snobs; they look down on working class whites and conservative/religious jews.  Working class whites don't have money or access to affirmative action, so they cannot even dream of attending ivy league schools.

Obama got into Columbia University as a transfer student from a community college, which is unheard of.  He was an affirmative action baby all the way.  And despite receiving mediocre grades at Columbia, he was accepted at Harvard Law School on -- what else -- the affirmative action plan.  No such largess was bestowed on Sarah Palin, whose family led a hard-scrapple life without money.  Sarah Palin earned everything she got through her natural gifts and hard work.  She was given no advantages in life.

I was listening to the news today about the conflict in Syria.

" We can't stand by and just watch innocent children be gassed and murdered " yada yada.

Where were their voices during the gassing and slaughtering in Waco, Texas. Maybe this is a new policy !

If anybody really thinks the US government or any of its leading officials care about the deaths of children anywhere in the world they're very naïve. Very, very naïve.

But they have to care for the death of the birds by gas at Syria.

Isn't the administration mindful of the effects of bombing on global warming...  I mean climate change?

And the intensive missile strikes at Damascus may lead to a huge shift in the earth axis creating massive errors in GPS guided equipment and severe weather changes and so on and so forth. The fear is that the Saudi Arab may turn in to lush green like Congo.
