Just in time for Xmas......!

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/12/20/christian-group-plans-100-foot-tall-jesus-statue-in-muslim-dominated-nazareth/?intcmp=latestnews

And all this with the blessing of Uzi Landau. For all his few good points, Landau is just another pseudo right-winger!

Oh man, this is not going to turn out well...
Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the horn, and the people be not warned, and the sword do come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Exactly what I didn't want to happen in this thread...

Natzeret is all Arab. Next to it is Natzeret Illit, which is all Jewish.

Davening Mincha looking at a giant statue on Mt Precipice of the Nazarene overlooking Natzeret Illit would definitely throw me.

They wouldn't get away with such a statue in Jerusalem: Haredi zealots, who are known for climbing on to churches and wrenching off crucifixes, would tear the Yoshki down with thier bare hands.

There are only a few Haredim in Natzeret Illit.

But I suspect the Muzzies will do the job.

And that's where we can be melamed zechus on them jus' for once: Islam will not tolerate idols or idolatrous worship.

For better or worse, the Taliban tore down the Buddhist statues in Afghanistan.

And the Waqf are at least keeping the Temple Mount totally purged of idols, pending our return.

If Xtians controlled the Har Habayis, which they once did, it would today be covered wall to wall in crucifixes and icons!

Jesus was not a bad person, and many Christians are great and loyal to Jews. What the Romans turned Jesus into and did was bad. This statue should not go up in Israel! Sometimes things good Christians do effects Jews, like when the Hussites fought the Church, the Jews were blamed for their rebellion...

Leviticus 26:1

“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God.
The banding together by the nations of the world against Israel is the guarantee that their time of destruction is near and the final redemption of the Jew at hand.

I have your back on this, Christians are way better than A rats... If Christians are not praying to Jesus, a cross or statue, how are they committing idol worship?

I'm not comfortable with any kind of statues being made like this anywhere because people will worship the statue.

1. Ephraim never met someone who lived thousands of years ago.

2. Divisive or not, I see the point of this. It should probably be in the Judaism section.

3. Ephraim, they are praying to him. The religion makes it clear that (a). G-d doesn't really relate to how hard life is here, and will kill everyone who isn't 100% perfect, (b). You have to pray to G-d in his name, as it is very important, and you have to use that name when you pray, and describes removing invasive spirits using that name, so they do pray in his name (though not one says y..., creator of the world...) and believe that "no man cometh unto the ["]father["] but by me", so if you don't pray to him, you can't pray at all. They're praying to this man that they think was G-d or part of G-d or a third or a complete third or manifestation of the whole that is equal to G-d but limited in the world (but apparently isn't limited any more, or might be) or is something to do with G-d. You think what you think, but I don't think there are like 10 people who think the same, and they surely don't for long. They are erecting the statue for other reasons than they think it isn't G-d, to the contrary, they are erecting it either in the honor of their "G-d", because they think it will encourage other people to follow their G-d, or because it's a manifestation of their G-d that will protect them or do something good for them. All this bothers Jews, but clearly not you.

4. No one wants to ally with them. Hopefully you can see how genital-mutalators doing what we should and won't makes it obvious how far we've fallen from our goal. At least we can be assured there will be less people to send on their way from this area due to this idol, though we should ideally kick them all out, and pack their idol and kkkorans in the same truck out.

Since the rise of Darwin & the defanging of the Church, the Xtians have endeavoured to put on somewhat of a better face towards the Jew.

But not so long ago and you would much have preferred to have lived in Muslim Constantinople than in Xtian Warswaw!

The Muslims today are evil "monotheistic barbarians"! (Prof Paul Eidelberg). Nevertheless, the Xtians continue to believe not just that Jesus was the messiah, but also that he is the incarnation and corporification of the Deity!

The Sages discuss whether or not this is considered idolatry for a non-Jew. But for a Jew it clearly is, and a 100' statue of a wayward Yiddishe rabbinical student with a messiah-complex who lived in the Galilee 2000 ago years whom the gentiles continue to fervently worship as G-d, and whom even the best of the Xtian Zionists would jus' love for us to join them in bowing down to and kissing, would be yet another defilement of the sanctity of Eretz Yisroel.

If Orthodox Jews still refrain from learning Torah on the night of 25 December, it's for a reason!

In the future, bands of loyal Kahanists will scour the Land and purge it of all Crescents, Crosses, Icons, and Statues, as well as of the Hari Krishna shrines & getchkas which many Israelis who have been to Nepal & California have in their gardens!

I hate agreeing with you, but other than the fact that the Nazis worshiped Norse idols, and the cumulative suffering in mudrat Constantinople was simply not comparable (but as a descendant of a few of a great Polish Jewish family, I have to agree) since life under pisslam is hell, I long to see the day you describe.

Isn't it about time for you to make perverse comments about female Israeli leaders again, Nonny?

If you think life in Koranrat anuses is so great and JTF Christians are comparable to Polish Nazis, I'm sure that Iran would take in Jewish immigrants right now for propaganda and posturing purposes.

Please Moshiach come soon and spare us this insult...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

I guess the Israeli Tourism Ministry didn't read Masechet Avodah Zarah. Money from such tourism is treif. I guess the Israeli Tourism Ministry would rather spend money on "gay tourism" than be proud Jews. I've literally scene pamphlets that the Israeli Consulate distributes in the US to promote "gay tourism". Anything but Kahanist tourism is okay with the Israeli Government.

They promote all of these things and problems in order to undermine the possibility of a Jewish State. The fags, the Xtian idol, the blacks from Sudan, the Arabs and the list is on and on, all to undermine Torah Judaism becoming the law of the land. These koffrim are the root of the problem.

Also, take note that the Tourism Ministry uses the image of the Sin of the Spies as their logo. They would rather have religious Jews say "It's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there." than have those same Jews move to Israel and replace the regime in power.

"But there is another marvel here. The place of the Sanctuary has for many centuries been in the possession of Mohamedans. This is a great consolation for us and a protection for the Sanctuary. What consolation is it for us that Mohamedans possess the holy ground? Much better than other religions. They have no idols or statues with which to profane the holy place. You are indeed right. But following your lead, they protect the holy ground not only against idol-worshippers and against images, but also against irreverent Jews. If these could have access to the holy place, they would come with their women and their cameras and their lunches and desecrate the sacred ground. Beside, we are all unclean today; so it would be a great sin for Jews to ascend the mountain of the holy House. It is a kindness of G-d that this place has not fallen into any hands but those of the Mohamedans." (R.Avigdor Miller, "Rejoice O Youth" p146, 1962)

Complete and utter nonsense.  If you hold of the view that Jews cannot ascend the Mount, then neither can non-Jews.  Absolutely no difference between an "irreverent" (or otherwise) Jew defiling it or a Muslim defiling it.
He waxes poetic about no statues being there and no irreverent Jews to bring lunches.   The Muslims play soccer matches and have picnics up there.  And they promote their muhammad bs too.
