Prayer for the state of Israel
« on: March 10, 2014, 02:08:54 AM »
What does Chaim & the rest of you think about saying this prayer?
I personally think it is a lie & an insult my my intelligence.
How can you say reshit smichat geulateinu (the first manifestation of the approach of our redemption) when Jews are being thrown out of their homes by a so called Jewish government, when Slavic Goyim are welcome with open arms & given citizenship while many real Jews are denied aliyah or even the right to enter the country altogether?
I for one will not stand up for this lie or recite it or give it any credence.

I think it is the first step in our redemption. For 2000 years, we only had goyim to look at as the cause of our suffering. Now we at least know what our problem is, so we can at least know what is going to help us.
