Any members familiar with Germany..... advice requested

I am seriously considering a part time post-graduate program at a medical school in Frankfurt Germany... I would only have to be there eight times over a two year period for 2 weeks at a time. I know a lot of Nazi crap goes on there but is that sentiment the prevailing mindset of the average German and/or the average German in that area? Would you feel safe there?

I've been there like a 100 times. Don't worry about Germany. You have some realy rough areas in Berlin etc but Frankfurt all will be fine.
