If the goal of Netanyahu is just to get Hamas to agree to another cease-fire or to replace the stupid terrorists of Hamas with the tricky terrorists of Fatah in Gaza, there is no place in complaining why don't Charedim join the army.
If we had even an army triple the size that we have now, we'd still have the same problems as long as the losers that are ruling the country continue in the same path.

 Good points, but 1 big problem though. Its not about the army needing Haredim, its more of the Haredim needing to join the army. It will break that "Haredi" ideology and get many of them to become "Right-wing" all the time and not go back and forth (their politicians) because of complaints of them not being in the army themselves thus somehow "forfeiting" having an opinion of fighting back and hard against the Arabs.
 Also take away the option of having to be blackmailed and given the option of either $ for the institutions OR being part of government that surrenders.
