Where in the world do they build houses & apartments without closets  besides here?
My daughter & son in law  at least had sechel when building their house in Bat Ayin they had it built with American style closets.

What are you talking about the apartment I live in here is bigger than the apartment I lived Brooklyn with the same amount of rooms.
This makes no sense since my building here was built in the 60's or 70's & there are no Arabs in my neighborhood.

Every place has different design standards and idiosyncrasies. Since the 1980s most of the new apartments in Israel are rather large 4 and 5 room apartments. Only recently there has been a change to build more 2 and 3 room apartments because of sky rocketing real estate prices. Walk in closets is simply not a design feature that Israelis are used to or want it. I think most would rather have a smaller closet and not waste half a room on such thing.

No closets at all you have to bring your own closets with you whenever you move into a new place unless you have a house built with closets like my daughter in Bat Ayin did,

Yes I am interested to know that too. When you rent an apartment it usually is not fully furnished. Often there are already closets installed though.

You buy a free standing closet & put it in the bedroom.
As I said most homes & apartments are built without them & you bring your own closet or closets when you move in.
You have to see it to believe it or understand it.
Again  as I said Chelmites must have done the planning on the buildings here.

Something like this or bigger & you bring it with you wherever you move because most houses & apartments do not have built in closets as you know them in the US,Canada or most of the world.

Have mercy  I have not seen people use something like that in 50 years... When I was a a kid I remember seeing things like that in some of the old timers bedrooms... People had a lot less stuff in the way of clothing back then... Today something like that would not suffice for a small childs garments let alone an adult.
