I agree with part of what you wrote.  It's definitely a power trip for these girls, and a way to passive/agressively get back at their parents.  In terms of getting the dominating alpha male, that's what most women look for, Jewish or not.  But in the case of Jewish men vs. Muslim men, I get the feeling the Jews are more like "Hey can't we all get along" whereas the Muslim men are open and confident with their religion and way of life.  After all, these Muslim men (the young ones at least) are willing to kill and die for their beliefs.  Whereas on the other hand many Jews (at least in the Diaspora) believe that fighting back is "un-Jewish."  And in Israel, you have these male Jewish Haaretz writers with no self respect for their heritage, that constantly right about how Jews are bad.  The fact that Haaretz has a readership in Israel only goes to show how bad the problem is.

CF, it's not about deliberately seeking out scum, although some alpha male types may very well be thugs.  Now I'm not a psychologist.  But I've read some blogs on this topic since I'm interested in learning the male point of view.  As I see it, the thing that thugs and other so-called alpha males have in abundance is confidence.  They do their own thing.  They don't act desperate around women.  And they're not pushovers.  I have a feeling that it what attracts these women.
