Greetings from a Yeshiva bochur
« on: August 17, 2007, 07:47:47 AM »
Hi all, I found out about JTF when I became active in some kahanist events in my community. a few months ago I distributed pamphlets and helped sell t-shirts and books at the salute to Israel parade in manhattan(for those that were there, I was the one in the black hat). I'm a Ba'al Teshuvah(one who became religious later in life after not being raised such), and i became so when I was 14, after starting yeshiva. As for my activities, I made some torah-related videos on youtube, and I am a staunch anti-missionary. I learn as much Gemara as I can, and I plan on making aliyah when I'm 18. That's the short version
"If I am not for myself, who will be for me? if I am for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when? - Hillel, Pirkei Avos

Welcome .  :)

In thy power Almighty, trusting,
Did our fathers build of old;
Strengthen then, O Lord, their children
To defend, to love, to hold
That the heritage they gave us
For our children yet may be:
Bondsmen only to the Highest
And before the whole world free.
As our fathers trusted humbly,
Teach us, Lord, to trust Thee still:
Guard our land and guide our people
In Thy way to do Thy will.
